Those who will have higher percentage of marks in Board or qualifying examination for Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry taken together will be given the preference. Other preferences to be followed are given below in the following order:
- Less incorrect attempts by the student in Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and Physics will be given preference
- Less incorrect marks by the student in Biology/ Mathematics will be given preference
- Less incorrect attempts by the student in Chemistry will be given the preference
- Highest marks obtained by the student in class 12 will be given preference
- Older in age will be given preference
- Candidate with higher marks or score in Mathematics at MHT CET
- Candidate with higher marks or score in Physics at MHT CET
- Candidate with higher marks or score in Chemistry at MHT CET
- Higher % of marks in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry or Aggregate at HSC
