Directorate Of Technical Education (DoTE), Chennai, will close TNEA 2021 application form on August 24. Eligible candidates can fill and submit the application form to appear in the counselling of TNEA 2021. Candidates must note that TNEA 2021 important dates for the first phase have been released by the authority. The registration process had started on the official website of TNEA 2021 - tneaonline.org from July 26. C andidates can check also visit the TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFCs) to apply for TNEA admission established by the conducting authority. TNEA random numbers will be assigned on August 25 on the official website.

Steps to fill TNEA 2021 application form

TNEA application form 2021 is available online. Below are the steps to be completed by the candidates to complete the application process online. The registration fee must be paid through an online payment gateway like debit card/ credit card/net banking. Candidates can also pay the fees through a valid demand draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, TNEA” payable at Chennai – 600 025. Steps are given below:

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2021 (TNEA 2021) is completely an online process with the following stages – Online Registration & Application Filling, Certificate Verification, Online Choice filling, Tentative Seat Confirmation, and Provisional Allotment. An e-call letter that contains the date, time, and address of the TFC for original Certificate Verification will be generated and shall be made available in TNEA web portal. An E-mail and SMS will also be sent to the registered candidate.

A merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths, Physics and Chemistry which will be reduced to 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50 and Chemistry – 50). The overall TNEA rank list is prepared based on the merit list with a tiebreak resolution. TNEA 2021 counselling will be conducted in four to five rounds.
