Important Tips for Students appearing VIT Exam 2026

This year, VITEEE question paper came out to be unpredictable with several shifts mimicking JEE Mains level. Hence, looking at the VIT 2026 April paper analysis, here’s what we can advise students appearing for upcoming VITEEE 2026 exam date -

• Revise and prepare beyond NCERT

• Prepare well and also refer to PYQs of BITSAT, COMEDK, and JEE Main for reference and practice

• Focus more class 12th syllabus

• Some high-weightage topics are electrostatics, coordinate geometry, atomic structure, Calculus, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate geometry, Vectors and 3-D geometry, Matrices and determinants, current electricity, EMI, ray optics, magnetic field

• Organic chemistry is having more weightage (in two to three shifts so far)

• Some students have also stated that deleted chapters/topics were also asked. If you have prepared for it, well and good if not then it’s better to skip.

• If your answer is correct, then add 4 marks

• If your response is incorrect, then deduct -1 mark

• Zero marks for unmarked answers.
