The VITEEE admission process undergoes following stages -

  • First, applicant has to apply and appear for entrance test
  • Once results are announced, institute conducts a counselling process based on rank
  • Selected applicants will have to then select programme for admission

Shortlisted students have to download their provisional letter and attend the document verification round to complete VITEEE admission process.

Compared to other BTech engineering exams, like JEE Main, the VITEEE difficulty level is mostly on moderate level. However, with negative marking introduced this year and time-constraints, the question solving mainly depends on accuracy. How to score full marks in VITEEE English Section?

VITEEE 2026 English section carries 5 questions in total. Each question is of four marks. The main catch to score full marks in the VIT English section is to solve all questions within 15 to 20 minutes (with accuracy). Here are some strategies that you can implement in your preparation -

  • Reading comprehension: Practice solving passage-based questions. This will help build vocabulary and fluency. Tip: Read newspapers, magazines, books, and articles, etc. 
  • Focus on Grammar and Vocabulary: Pay attention to topics like sentence correction, fill-in-the blanks, antonyms, synonyms, etc.

No, VITEEE is conducted online at designated exam centres issued by the authorities. There is no chance of attempting VIT exam from home. Candidates have to register, book slot, download admit card and appear for the entrance test on the chosen date and time.

Rough sheets will be provided inside the VITEEE exam hall. Candidates will have to write their name, roll number and other details before using the rough pad. However, virtual and physical calculators are strictly not allowed during the exam. Candidates will have to do calculations manually.
