WBJEE is conducted annually to select candidates for admission into the BTech courses offered by the participating institutes of the state. Commonly asked questions
WBJEE question paper will have three categories. Category 1 and 2 questions will have only one correct option. Category 3 questions may have one or more correct options.
WBJEE is held as an offline test. Mathematics will have 75 questions and Physics and Chemistry will have 80 questions each. Total number of questions in WBJEE is 155.
Students can check previous years' WBJEE question papers to check topics and questions that are repeatedly present and have high weightage. These topics can be picked out as important topics and students can focus on them during preparation. Students should make sure that entire syllabus is also covered.
WBJEE exam will have two papers. Paper 1 will be Mathematics and Paper 2 will be Physics and Chemistry.

Commonly asked questions
WBJEEB will release official WBJEE question papers online. Candidates can check official question papers at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Separate question papers will be released for Paper 1 and Paper 2 of WBJEE.
According to official pattern, WBJEE exam will be held as an offline test. Candidates will have to attempt category wise questions for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Marking scheme will be different for every question category.
There is negative marking in WBJEE. For category 1 questions, one fourth mark will be deducted, and for category 2 questions, it is half mark. There is no negative marking for category 3 questions.

What is the WBJEE Syllabus?
WBJEEB released official WBJEE syllabus along with the information brochure. The official syllabus consists of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The level of the syllabus will be similar to the 12th standard qualifying examination. Yes, but only in private colleges through management quota, based on Class 12 marks, without needing WBJEE. Colleges like IEM, Heritage, Techno India, and Adamas offer this option.
Always check that the college is AICTE-approved before taking direct admission, as unapproved seats can create problems
