QS World University Rankings 2026 have been released. According to the same, IIT BHU ranks at #566 under the category 'World Universities'.
The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

- The JEE Advanced 2026 application form is expected to be released in April 2026, and the examination will be conducted on May 17, 2026.

IIT BHU Cutoff 2025
The recent cutoff data has not been released yet. However, IIT BHU JEE Advanced 2024 cutoffs have been published for admission to BTech, Integrated BTech, and BArch programs. In Round 4, JoSAA cutoffs for 2024 varied between the 1043 and 21448 values. Notably, the B.Tech. in CSE is highly competitive among General category students under the AI Quota. However, IIT BHU Varanasi JEE Main results have been released. Additionally, IIT Banaras Hindu University JEE Advanced 2025 result is also released. The JEE Mains 2025 Result Session 1 is out for the institute.
IIT BHU BTech CSE rank shows a fluctuating trend. The Round 4 cutoff for this course was 1054 in 2023 and 861 in 2022.

IIT Varanasi has released the category-wise cutoffs for various BTech specialisations. For BTech admissions, JEE Advanced is conducted widely by IITs. A JEE Advanced rank of 3000 under OBC category can be considered as the decent rank, however, this rank is insufficient to secure BTech in CSE programme in 2024. IIT BHU Scholarships 2025
IIT BHU provides merit-cum-means scholarships to 25 percent of Undergraduate students. Apart from this, IIT Varanasi also offers a list of international scholarships, including Rhodes Scholarships 2019, University of Oxford, USIEF Fellowships for Indian Citizens: 2019-2020, Japanese Government [MEXT] Scholarship Program 2019 for Research Students along with many more.
