For Full time regular category at IIT BHU, candidates shortlisted on the basis of GATE/GPAT. IIT Varanasi offers MSc in eight specialisations under two departments of Chemistry and Physics. The names of specialisations offered at the institute include Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Theoretical Physics, and Photonics.
