How to Download AILET Admit Card 2027?

You can download your AILET 2027 admit card by following these easy steps.

  • Go to the NLU Delhi website – http://www.nludelhi.ac.in
  • A new page will open, then click on the Login tab.
  • Enter your Application Number and Password, then log in.
  • On your dashboard, check and download the AILET admit card.
  • Take a clear printout and keep at least 2–3 copies of the AILET hall ticket for later use.

Q:   In case I lose my AILET admit card, what should I do?
A: 

AILET 2026 Admit Card is an important document and candidates must try not to misplace or lose it. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the AILET Exam 2026. Even after the exam, AILET Admit Card 2026 is required for counselling and must be kept safe until whole admission process is over. However, in case the candidate looses their AILET admit card, they can visit the official website of the exam, download and reprint the document.

Q:   Will I receive the hardcopy of the AILET admit card by post?

The NLU Delhi do not send anyone's admit card through post. On exam day, the candidate must without fail carry with them the admit card and a valid photo ID proof. 

Candidates should download the admit card in colour print (if black and white, then it should mention test centre details and candidates photograph clearly). Also, candidates should carry extra printouts of the admit card on exam day to be on a safer side in case they misplace it.

How to retrieve AILET 2027 Login/ Password?

If you forget your AILET password, go to the official NLU Delhi website to reset it. Follow the steps given below carefully.

  • On the AILET Admit Card login page, click the Forgot Password option.
  • You’ll be taken to a new page automatically.
  • Type in your registered mobile number.
  • Then click on Reset Password.
  • A new password will be created for your account.

After that, log in again using the new password and download your AILET hall ticket without any issue.

Q:   Can I appear for AILET Exam without admit card?
A: 

No, without the admit card aspirants will not be allowed to appear in the exam. Candidates must ensure that they carry at least two printed copies of the admit card to the exam centre. The admit card's hard copy is mandatory to be presented at the time of appearing in the exam. The hard copy/print out of the AILET admit card is the only valid proof of identification and verification which is acceptable at the AILET test centre. Candidates failing to produce the AILET admit card at the test centre in hard copy format will not be allowed to centre the test centre.

Q:   Is it necessary to keep AILET admit card even after the AILET Exam?
A: 

Candidates must keep the copy of AILET Admit Card safely until the whole AILET admission process is over. The admit card will be required for the counselling process as part of important documents. Candidates can check the AILET exam day guidelines here. It is advised to follow them on the exam day.

  • The identity proof and the admit card will be required for verification before the exam.
  • Candidates should report to the test center at least one hour before the exam.
  • Entry to the test center will be prohibited fifteen minutes after the exam starts.
  • Study material will not be accepted inside the examination hall.
  • Candidates should not carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or other electronic equipment.

Q:   What are the things to carry to AILET exam centre 2026?
A: 

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the AILET centre:

  • It is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre; candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
  • Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, and Ration Card. 
  • Candidates should carry an attested passport-size photograph  (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form). 
  • Since the AILET 2026 is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre.
  • The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.
Q:   Can I appear for AILET if I forget to carry my photo ID?
A: 

No, candidates were not allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates were advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, AILET admit card 2026, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These were the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the AILET exam centre. The valid photo identity card which would be allowed at the AILET 2026 exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id. The admit card should also have the passport and postcard-sized photographs pasted on it.

Q:   Will AILET 2027 Admit Card be sent by post?
A: 

No. AILET 2027 admit card will not be sent by post to any candidate. The hall ticket has to be downloaded online from the official website. Candidates have to log in and enter their registration ID and password to download the admit card for AILET 2027. Candidates are advised to download the admit card and check all details carefully. In case of any error, candidates are advised to contact the exam conducting body immediately to get the error rectified.

Q:   Can I change my exam centre as mentioned on the admit card of AILET 2026?
A: 

No, the allotted exam centre cannot be changed at any stage after submission of the application form. Candidates will have to appear at the allotted test centre only. However, any incorrect detail related to the exam centre on the admit card can be reported to NLU Delhi to get it corrected.

The National Law University Delhi (NLUD) will conduct the pen-and-paper-based AILET 2026 exam. The exam will be held in 24 cities across the country. Each of these exam cities may have one or more test centres. The candidate had to select their choice of exam cities at the time of filling out the AILET 2026 application form. A maximum of THREE cities could be selected (in the order of priority). 

 

Q:   Should the AILET 2026 admit card printout be coloured or black and white?
A: 

Candidates are advised to take a coloured printout of the admit card. However, it is not compulsory. NLU Delhi has not stated any guideline regarding this. They must also ensure that they have two to three spare copies of the admit card for future use. However, in case a candidate does not have access to a coloured printer, she/he can take a black and white printout of the AILET 2026 admit card as well, but the details such as photograph and text should be clearly visible.
