  • Come out of theory and experience reality: By this I mean, the socks need to be pulled up for general awareness. The future rounds of SNAP include WAT, GD and PI, hence it’s imperative that no stone should be left unturned to clear the hurdles of this final round too. So one should start reading newspapers (especially the editorial section) daily which would help broaden your vision and keep you updated. One can also download some apps on mobile to be on the go.
  • Attend GD-PI workshops: GD and PI are the real game-changers, hence shouldn’t be taken lightly. One should attend online and offline workshops for the same and also explore as many avenues to brush up these skills as possible. This may include webinars, seeking help from alums of these institutes etc. If required you may join a good professional institute to help you with GD-PI preparation.

  • Focus on remaining entrance exams: You are in the race of becoming a manager and managers are known to always have a backup plan ready. So why not start thinking like a manager now Hence, all the exams, which are still left such as XAT, TISSNET, etc., should be given with full preparation. Also, since one has already prepared for SNAP and CAT, hence remaining focussed wouldn’t require extra efforts.
  • Give yourself some time: Lastly, you’ve put in a lot of efforts over the last few months for these exams. Hence, taking a break would recharge you back. Do whatever you love – go for a small vacation, enjoy music, read novels and have some good food (made by mom if possible) because for the next two years you are for sure going to miss all this.

As it is said, “Enjoy the journey as you move towards your goal”, hence irrespective of how the SNAP exam went, pat your back once that you made it so far with complete determination. Stay positive that you would definitely make the cut, however, if the things don’t fall in place, just remember this isn’t the END. Entire life is in front of you, so come back strongly next time after analysing the mistakes, weaknesses and I’m sure that you’ll definitely make it to your dream MBA college.
