Q:   How many Sets are there in the NEET question paper?
A:

There are generally four Sets of NEET question papers, which are further segregated into six parts. The names of the NEET 2024 question paper Sets and codes are Q, R, S and T. For the NEET 2024 re-exam, the question paper sets were A, B, C and D. The multiple Sets and codes in the NEET question papers ensure that there is no malpractice in the conduct of the exam. The names of the Sets and codes of the regional NEET question papers are different from the English ones. While distributing the question papers of NEET invigilators had to ensure that they did not give the same set question paper to two consecutive candidates. Once candidates are given the NEET question paper by invigilators, they need to check whether the question paper and test booklet, or answer sheet is of the same code. In case of a mismatch, they need to bring the matter to the invigilators notice. In case they submit the NEET test booklet with a different code from that of the NEET question paper, their exam will stand cancelled.

Q:   Do all the Sets of NEET question papers carry the same questions?
A:

Although the questions are the same in all Sets of the NEET question paper, the order of the sections and questions vary from set to set. The different order of the sections and questions ensure that there is no malpractice conducted during the exam. Even if some questions are absolutely different in separate Sets or languages, the topics and chapters covered and difficulty level remain similar to ensure normalisation. Hence, it can be said that NTA Sets a common question paper carrying 200 questions, after which the questions are distributed across four Sets and six subsets of the NEET question paper. The subjects, and the questions within the subjects are shuffled for each of the NEET question paper Sets. This allows a parity in terms of topics covered and difficulty level, as well as allows avoidance of malpractice.

Q:   What type of questions are there in the NEET question papers?
A:
The question types in the NEET question paper is objective and multiple-choice type. Each question carries four answer options. The difficulty level of the questions range from moderate to tough. The questions are asked from the prescribed NEET syllabus. Since NEET is a paper-pencil-based test (PBT), test-takers are given OMR sheet wherein they have to mark the correct answer option through blue or black ballpoint pen provided at the exam centre. While leaving the exam centre, candidates will have to submit the test booklet or the OMR sheet and rough sheet booklet to the invigilator. They will be allowed to carry the NEET question paper with them, outside the exam hall.

As per the NEET 2025 answer key, two questions have two correct answer keys. While one question already mentioned two correct answer keys, another question was mentioned with two answer keys in the final answer keys of NEET 2025. The question is from Physics, and the question is, "A full wave rectifier circuit with diodes (D1) and (D2) is shown in the figure. If input supply voltage Vin = 220sin(100πt) volt, then at t = 15 msec."

A:

Each question will carry four answer options and test-takers will have to select the correct answer option and mark it on the OMR sheet.

Q:   When will NTA release the NEET 2025 OMR response sheet?
A:

NTA released the NEET 2025 OMR response sheet of candidates on June 3, 2025, within a month of conducting the exam. Within this, candidates can check their OMR sheets or response sheets where they had marked answers in. In case of any discrepancy on the response sheet, candidates could submit obections or challenges to NTA by June 5, 2025, 11.50 PM. Along with the OMR sheet, NTA also released the provisional NEET answer keys. Candidates could submit objections against either or both documents. They could also calculate the estimated scores by crosschecking their responses on the NEET OMR sheet and the answer keys.

Q:   What is the total number of questions in NEET?
A:

The total number of questions in the NEET 2026 question paper will be 180, all of which are compulsory. Physics and Chemistry will have 45 questions each, Biology subject will have 90 questions, 45 each from Botany and Zoology. The total number of questions has been reduced from 200 to 180. The optional questions have been removed this year. Moreover, each subject will have single section, with 45 questions. Each question will have four marks and in case of wrong answer, there will be negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.

Q:   My medium of paper is Hindi. It means all questions will come in Hindi language?
A:

According to NEET pattern, the question paper for the candidates who have chosen Hindi as the medium will be bilingual. The second language of the question paper will be English. In case candidates have any doubts regarding a particular question or term, they can refer to the English questions. Candidates choosing the NEET question paper medium as Hindi must ensure that they have received the Hindi language question paper in the exam hall. In case they receive English or any other regional language question paper, they must report the matter to the invigilator and get it changed immediately. In case they start solving the NEET question paper of a different language and report it later, it may be considered redundant.

The NEET 2025 question papers were handed to the test-takers after the exam. This year, the code patterns were changed from alphanumeric to only numeric. Right after the exam got over, experts from top medical coaching institutes solved the question paper sets of NEET 2025 and released the unofficial NEET answer keys 2025. Based on the surrounding page content, a NEET 2025 score of 300 puts you in a moderate to lower range for admission into BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), especially for General category students. But don't lose hope—there are still possibilities!

With a NEET rank of 274735, getting a government B.Sc Nursing college is very unlikely, especially for General category. You may have a slight chance in stray rounds or through state quota if you're from a reserved category or low cutoff state.
