NBEMS has released the list of documents required for registration. Candidates can check the NEET PG information brochure to know the list of documents to upload while filling the NEET PG application form. They will have to upload a recent passport-size photograph, signature and thumb impression.
Before filling NEET PG application form 2026, candidates must go through the image upload guidelines. They have to ensure that the application uploaded online is as per the guidelines. The authority will allow the candidates to rectify deficient / incorrect images. NEET PG 2026 application form was available online from July 1 to 21, 2026. The application form is available online at natboard.edu.in.

Candidates have to upload two photographs: a real-time photograph and a recent photograph. Check the table for specifications.

As such no section is easy in NEET PG syllabus. Some candidates may find clinical section easy while others may perceive para clinical as difficult. In reality, all the three sections clinical pre and para clinical are equally difficult and candidates have to devote good amount of time to prepare in and out of every subjects. It must be noted, a good number of questions are clinical based, so this section holds huge importance.
Some topics of pre and para clinical are utmost important as lots of questions are from them. Point is candidates should prepare all three sections in such manner so that 90 percent questions can be answered easily. Last year, clinical section was difficult in comparision to other two sections.
NEET PG is a higher-level exam with a high level of competition. The NEET PG exam syllabus is extensive and covers all 19 subjects that a medico studies during the MBBS. The student's preparation time is also limited, and they must balance coursework and an internship.
This leaves little to no time to prepare for the NEET PG. A student works an internship at a hospital before the NEET PG exam, and the shifts are unpredictable. A lack of preparation time combined with intense competition makes NEET PG a difficult nut to crack. At the same time, it is not impossible task to score well in the exam. Candidates only need proper preparation, planning, and consistent efforts. What matters is that you believe in yourself and work towards your goal.
Candidates can take a printout of the choices filled by them by clicking on "Print Lock Choice" available on the left-hand side of the page. This option will available to the candidates after the specified time of the last date of choice locking. It must be noted candidates can declare n number of choices for seat allotment. Candidates are advised to lock the choices otherwise it will be locked automatically after the due date and no change can be done after the same. Seats will be allotted based on the choices declared, seats availability in particular course and college, and other factors.
There is no provision to change NEET PG test centre once allotted. NBE tries to allot the test centre as per the preferences declared with application form, but if it doesn't happen, candidates have to accept it. NBEMS reserves its right to allocate test centres anywhere in the country irrespective of the test city chosen by the candidate to maintain the sanctity of examination. "Requests for change of testing centre / city shall not be entertained on any ground. Candidates are advised not to canvass for the same," the official brochure says.

Yes, NEET PG city intimation slip was released on August 11, 2026. Candidates can check the city intimation slip through login portal. They can know the exam city name through the NEET PG city intimation slip.

NBEMS will release the NEET PG admit card 2026 on August 24, 2026. Candidates will be informed regarding the availability of the NEET PG hall ticket through email / SMS. They will have to provide the login details to access the admit card online.

According to the past year data, the last round NEET PG closing rank for MD/MS admission at IUL Lucknow ranged between 4097 and 7174 in the year 2025. The most difficult branch to get admission to was MS Ophthalmology and the most-the easiest one was MS in ENT.

Yes, for postgraduate medical courses like MD and MS, colleges accept NEET PG scores. For super-specialty courses, NEET SS is required. MBBS admission, however, is based only on NEET UG.

No. NEET-PG is mandatory for all MD admissions in India across all colleges, government, private, deemed, and central institutions. There is no alternative entrance exam or direct admission route for MD. Even foreign nationals of Indian origin need to qualify in the relevant entrance process.
