CBSE released the CBSE admit card 2025 on the official website. Students can download the admit card and distribute the printed copies to all students of class 10, 12. It is important to carry the CBSE hall ticket on all exam days otherwise students will not be allowed to write the exam. 

CBSE Admit Card 2025 OUT - Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the CBSE 10th 12th admit card 2025 on the official website- cbse.nic.in. Schools can download the CBSE admit card 2025 using their login credentials and distribute the signed copies to Class 10, 12 students. 

Students must collect their CBSE admit card 2025 from their school and carry it on all exam days. The hall ticket is an important document and should be kept securely. No student will be permitted to write the exam without it. 

Here's how to download the CBSE Admit Card 2025

  • Schools need to visit the official website at cbse.nic.in
  • Under Latest @CBSE, click on 'Download CBSE Admit Card 2025 Class 10, 12' 
  • Enter the login credentials and download the hall tickets for all class 10, 12 students
  • Get them signed by the principal and distribute them to all students

Schools will inform students about the date they should collect the admit card from school. All Class 10, 12 students must collect the CBSE admit cards 2025 before February 14, 2025. 

Details mentioned on CBSE Admit Card 2025

The CBSE admit card includes details like student's name, roll number, date of birth, parent's names, exam subjects, their codes, exam centre and admit card ID.

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams will commence on February 15, 2025. The exam for Class 10 will begin with the English paper, while that of Class 12 will begin with the Entrepreneurship paper. This year, approximately 44 lakh students are expected to appear for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations.

Meanwhile, CBSE has issued an important notification regarding the examination policy for Class 10 and 12 students. The notification is specifically directed at school principals and heads, emphasising strict adherence to exam guidelines. CBSE has also warned students and schools about the serious consequences in case of violating the rules.

Students will be subjected to extensive and compulsory physical frisking before entering the examination centre. The following is a list of items that are permitted and barred from taking to the examination centres:

List of permitted items

  • Admit Card and School Identity Card (for regular students)
  • Admit Card and any government Issued Photo Identity Proof (for private students)
  • Stationery items i.e., Transparent Pouch, Geometry/Pencil Box, Blue/Royal Blue Ink/Ball Point/Gel Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Eraser
  • Analogue Watch, Transparent Water Bottle
  • Metro Card, Bus Pass, Money

List of barred items

  • Any stationery item - such as textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, calculator (Students with Learning Disability i.e. Dyscalculia are permitted to use are provided with the same by Exam centre), Pen Drives, Calculator, Log Table (shall be provided by the centres), Electronic Pen/ Scanner, etc.
  • Any communication device - such as Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, Smart Watch, Camera, etc.
  • Other items like Wallet, sunglasses, Handbags, Pouches, etc.
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, except for diabetic students
  • Any other item which could be used for unfair means
  • Use of the above or similar items will be treated under the β€œUnfair Means” category and will attract punishment as per rules.

A:

CBSE will release the CBSE 10th admit card 2026 in the first week of February 2026. Schools need to download the admit card by logging onto the official website. The printout is then distributed to all Class 10 students. Students need to collect the CBSE admit card 2026 from their school and carry it on all exam days.

Students are advised to keep their CBSE 10th admit card 2025 in their bag the night before the commencement of the exams. This way they will not tend to forget the important document on the exam day. Students are also advised to carry a photocopy of the admit card with them.
