About Meghalaya Board of School Education

Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) conducts the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) exam for Class 12th students to promote them for higher studies. MBOSE HSSLC exams are conducted in English, Khasi, Garo, Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Nepali, and Mizo, which are also Modern Indian Languages. No, Meghalaya board stopped conducting the MBOSE Supplementary exams for Class 12 from the academic year 2025. It does not conduct the improvement exams also. Thus, students who are unable to clear their MBOSE exams 2026 will have to appear again the next year for their exams. 

However, the board does offer the facility of rechecking/revaluation to its class 12 students. In case students feel they should have scored higher in a subject. they can apply for revaluation of their answer scripts.
