Q:   Can you give some tips to score above 90% in class 12th?
A:
Hi Abhishek, The Secret of scoring above 90 % (or even 95%) is - to study NCERT's fully and solve past year question papers. NCERT's play an important role, as if you have read the NCERT properly, then most of the questions in the papers would be known to you. Just read the NCERT's again and again instead of going into guide books. Secondly, solve previous years question papers seriously as in CBSE questions do repeat. Lastly, Study efficiently, cover all the topics and just believe in yourself. This above mentioned technique was adopted by me also, and I have myself scored 95.2 % in CBSE 2017. Hope it helps you.
Q:   How can I prepare for MBOSE 12th exams using MBOSE HSSLC routine?

Prepare a subject-wise list for MBOSE Class 12

List down all the subjects of MBOSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026. Students appearing for MBOSE HSSLC Exam 2026 will commonly be appearing for English, Mathematics, Physics, Accounts, History etc.

List down MBOSE 12th syllabus and list of topics to cover

Students are advised to cover the complete MBOSE 12th syllabus 2026. It is important for students to cover the whole syllabus to score well in board exams. Students must also not forget to make note of important topics to cover to avoid last minute hassles.

Know your subject-wise strengths and weakness

Prioritize the subjects you think you are weak in. Try to cover the whole syllabus using time management. It is important to cover weak subjects before the ones you feel confident about. Use the MBOSE 12th timetable to know the number of preparatory days allotted to each subject. Try and cover lengthy subjects much prior to any other subjects.

Don't forget to test yourself!

While preparing for MBOSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026, students are advised to keep testing themselves. Practice as many MBOSE Class 12 Sample Paper 2026. Use previous year question papers to revise and practice for MBOSE board exams 2025. Practicing sample papers will not only help students understand their preparation level but also teach them time management while making under the MBOSE 12th exam pattern.

Q:   How can I prepare for MBOSE 12th exam in such a short time?
A:

MBOSE HSSLC exams will likely be held between February 17 and March 19, 2026. Class 12th students have experienced the pressure of board examinations before in Class 10. However, class 12th subjects are more diverse and divided according to different streams. With just a few days left, students must focus on the topics which carry the most number of marks in the exam.

Here is how class 12th students can prepare themselves according to their choice of subjects.

MBOSE HSSLC Board: Mathematics Preparation

Mathematics is among one of the most competitive subjects in MBOSE exams. Students must remember to prioritize the topics with the highest weightage. The most important topics in class 12th mathematics include:

Calculus

Algebra

Vectors and 3D geometry

While other topics are also important, these three carry the highest weightage of marks. Students can practice various question banks and previous years' question papers to clear their conceptual knowledge.

MBOSE Class 12th Exams: Physics Preparation

Physics is a combination of practical and theoretical topics. MBOSE students can have a look at the following units with the highest weightage in the exam.

Optics

Electrostatics

Electromagnetic induction and Alternating currents

Atoms and Nuclei

Magnetic effects of current and magnetism

Electronic devices

Other units including current electricity, electromagnetic waves, and dual nature of radiation and matter carry less weightage, however they are also an integral part in the physics syllabus. Students must practice numericals, however, they must also remember to be clear with the theoretical concepts of physics.

MBOSE Class 12th Board: Accountancy Preparation

The best way to prepare for the accountancy exam is to create a sheet of all the important formulas. Since accountancy is filled with numerous formulas, it can be confusing for the students. It is also a good idea to memorize the formulas using flash cards. Here are some of the most important topics in MBOSE class 12 accountancy:

Balance sheet

Partnership deed

Goodwill

Treatment of goodwill

MBOSE HSSLC Board: Economics Preparation

The MBOSE class 12th economics is divided into two parts: macroeconomics and Indian economic development. The most numerical based questions are included in macroeconomics. Here are the most important topics carrying the highest weightage in macroeconomics:

National income and related aggregate

Determination of income and employment

Remaining topics including balance of payments, money and banking, and government budget carry 6 marks each.

Important topics for Indian economic development include:

Current challenges faced by the Indian economy

Development and economic reforms since 1991

While these two topics carry the most amount of marks, unit 3- development experience of India also carries 8 marks.

MBOSE 12th exams: Political Science Preparation

MBOSE class 12th political Science is divided into two sections: contemporary world politics, and politics in India since independence. Each section has units carrying almost equal division of marks. The best way to prepare for political Science is to thoroughly read the NCERT books, and stay updated with the political affairs. To get a clear picture of the political timeline, students can make a flowchart to keep track of all the events.

As the MBOSE board exams come closer, students are advised to keep regular revision sessions for clarity and confidence.

Q:   How do you find the percentage in MBOSE HSSLC result?
A:

Many students are unable to calculate the percentage of marks obtained in MBOSE HSSLC exams. Therefore, they can follow the steps below to calculate their percentage:

Step 1: Divide the obtained marks by the maximum marks

Step 2: Multiply the result by 100

Go through the example given below to understand the process of finding the percentage of marks.

Example 1: A student scored 1156 marks in the examination out of 1200 marks. Calculate the percentage of marks secured by the student. Go through the example given below to understand the process of finding the percentage of marks.

Solution:

Number of marks scored = 1156

Maximum marks = 1200

Percentage of marks= Marks obtained/Maximum marks x 100

Percentage of marks = (1156/1200) * 100

Percentage= 0.9633…. * 100

Therefore, the percentage of marks obtained is 96.3%

Q:   Can we attempt both questions, if a choice is given to attempt any one of the questions in the Class 12 board exam?
A:

The students are advised to follow the instructions given in the question paper. Attempting both the options will take away much of the time. They must read both questions carefully and attempt the question which they know the most.
