NBSE Practical Exams 2025: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has officially announced the schedule for the Class 11 and HSSLC practical exams for 2025. According to the notice issued by the board, the practical exams will commence on December 3, 2025, and conclude on December 13, 2025.
NBSE HSSLC Practical Exam 2025 Details and Centres
The Nagaland Board HSSLC practical exams will be conducted across 50 examination centres in Nagaland. Students are advised to be well-prepared for the experiments, projects, and other practical assessments outlined in their syllabus. The centre of examination for private candidates will be notified separately by the board, as mentioned in the official notification.
Nagaland Board HSSLC Practical Exams 2025 Guidelines
In accordance with the official board guidelines, the practical exams and project work will be conducted internally by each institution. However, each institution is required to appoint external examiners for conducting the practicals; no internal examiner will be allowed for the practical exams. Additionally, the list of external examiners must be submitted to the board at least one month before the start of the exams.
Institutions are also required to provide all the necessary materials, equipment, and support to conduct the practical exams and project works efficiently.
Exam Pattern for NBSE HSSLC 2025
For the NBSE HSSLC exams 2025, students will have to appear for six external subjects, which will include one additional subject and three subjects assessed internally. English is a compulsory subject for all students, irrespective of their stream.
- Commerce stream students will focus on accountancy, economics, and business studies.
- Science stream students will prepare for chemistry and physics as compulsory subjects.
NBSE HSSLC 2025 Marking Scheme for Practical Exams
The marking scheme for the NBSE HSSLC 2025 exams will vary depending on the subject:
- Theory subjects without practical exams will be assessed for 100 marks.
- Subjects with practical exams will consist of 70 marks for theory and 30 marks for practical assessments.
- For subjects that involve project work, the evaluation will include 10 marks for internal assessments and 90 marks for theory.
The board has emphasized the importance of following the guidelines closely, ensuring a smooth and transparent examination process for both theory and practical exams.
An official NBSE HSSLC routine 2025 is yet to be announced. However, as per the last year's exam date, the NBSE HSSLC exams 2026 will held in February and March 2026. The board is expected to announce the NBSE 12th routine in November/December this year. As soon as it gets announced, we will update the same on this page.
