TS Intermediate Board Exam 2027: Dates, Pattern & Syllabus

TSBIE Intermediate exam 2026 is Class 11 and 12 board exam conducted by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education. The board is based in Hyderabad. It oversees Intermediate education for nearly 10 lakh students every year across government, private, residential, and aided junior colleges in Telangana. Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) is held in two parts. The first-year students appear in IPE March cycle for first set of papers, while 2nd-year students appear for second set. Based on the combined result, students can take admission in top Engineering, Medical, Agriculural, Law and Commerce courses across the state.

TS Intermediate Exam Pattern 2027

TS Inter Syllabus 2027

TS Inter syllabus is set by TSBIE, and it is based on NCERT-aligned content. The syllabus mention the topics and chapters of all subjects required to be covered by students for preparation. Knowing the TS inter syllabus ensures that students do not get diverted to unnecessary topics that are not meant to be covered. The syllabus is given below. 

MPC Syllabus (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry):

• Maths: Algebra, Trigonometry, Vectors, Probability, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry.
• Physics: Units & Measurements, Motion, Laws of Motion, Work & Energy, Thermodynamics, Optics, Electricity, Magnetism, Modern Physics.
• Chemistry: Atomic Structure, Periodic Classification, Chemical Bonding, Organic Chemistry, Coordination Compounds, Biomolecules, Electrochemistry.

BiPC Syllabus (Biology, Physics, Chemistry):

• Botany: Plant Kingdom, Plant Morphology, Cell Biology, Plant Physiology, Genetics.
• Zoology: Animal Kingdom, Human Anatomy, Reproduction, Ecology, Evolution.
• Physics & Chemistry: Same as MPC stream.

CEC/MEC Syllabus:

• Economics: Micro & Macro Economics, Indian Economy, Statistics.
• Commerce: Accounting, Business Studies, Trade and Industry.
• Civics: Indian Constitution, Political System, Government.

TS Inter Preparation 2027

For better preparation of TS exams, students must make notes of all the important points and formulas and revise them on a regular basis. They must also prepare a timetable to cover all topics well before the exam to leave some time for revision.

1. Follow a proper schedule

Sleep early and wake up early in the morning, have a proper breakfast, and then sit to study. Do not stay up late at night. Take out an hour or two to relax and not think about the exams during the day. Read, sleep, play, or do whatever you think diverts your attention away from exams.

Munch on healthy food while you study. Junk food is a big no.

2. Do not have too much on the plate

Constructively exercise your brain, and do not burden it with a lot of thoughts. Set realistic targets for the day. Do not try and study everything in a single day. Try taking it slow and apportion the revision accordingly. Of the 5 or 6 subjects, pick up 2 or a maximum of 3 subjects and pick up a topic or two from each and go into the depths of the topics, instead of skimming 8-10 topics.

3. Mix and match

Plan the day well. Do not have all easy subjects/topics in a day or do not overburden with topics that you find difficult. To maximize the output, start with a light subject for an hour or so, and then take up a heavy subject or a topic.

4. Solve sample papers

Practicing sample papers makes one familiar with the exam pattern, marking scheme, and the kind of questions asked in the exams.

5. Practice the art of relaxation

Exercise and meditation help improve concentration. Meditation strengthens the mind, it comes under control and is able to provide effective guidance to the physical body to effectively execute all its projects.  Psychological Exercises are a powerful way of improving concentration and improving mental strength. During exam time, the aim of a student should be to perform to the best of his/her abilities and also concentrate on keeping themselves healthy, and relaxation exercises will help him/her do that.

Telangana Board of Intermediate Education released TS Inter 1st Year hall ticket on official website-  tgbie.cgg.gov.in. TSBIE issues the TS Inter Admit Cards for 12th board exams. Schools will distribute TS Inter hall ticket 2027 to students. Students are required to take a print copy of the same and carry it on all exam days without which they will not be allowed to write the papers.

3. Enter your registration number, date of birth, and stream

TSBIE was release TS Inter supplementary result 2027 on June 11. Students can check their results using the roll number and DOB as mentioned on the admit card. Follow process below to check their TS Inter results:

• Click on the Inter '1st year results TS' or 'Inter 2nd year results TS' link for General/Vocational Stream
• Inter results Telangana window will open. Select 2027
• Enter the hall ticket number in the specified field and submit details
• TS intermediate results will open on the screen
• Take a screenshot or printout and keep it safe
