#Cancelboardpariksha hashtag is trending on Twitter where students are demanding cancellation of CBSE board examinations due to rise in Covid-19 cases.
With the nation reeling under the third wave of coronavirus pandemic, several students across India are demanding cancellation of CBSE Class 10, 12 board examinations 2022 citing health risks. For this, the hashtag #Cancelboardpariksha is trending on Twitter.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has conducted the CBSE 10th, 12th Term 1 exams 2021-22 in November/December 2021 in offline mode. The Term 1 results 2022 are yet to be announced by the board. Meanwhile, the board is also planning to release the Term 2 CBSE 10th, 12th date sheet 2022 on the official website in February 2022. The examinations are likely to be scheduled between March and April 2022. However, with the number of people affected by coronavirus rising across states, the board may have to review the situation before giving a go-ahead to conduct the Term 2 exams offline.
Many States like Bihar, Maharashtra etc have confirmed that they will conduct the state board examinations offline as per the schedule, however, CBSE is yet to take its decision.
According to the notification released by the board earlier, the CBSE 10th, 12th Term 2 exams 2022 are to include questions in both multiple choice format and subjective questions. The board has recently released the Term 2 sample question papers and marking scheme for all subjects. Students can download the same and practice solving them for better practice.
Meanwhile, it is seen that the nation is witnessing a decline in the number of daily coronavirus positive cases being reported. If this trend continues, the pandemic can be seen nearing its end and the third Covid-19 wave will subside soon. In this case, there shall be no changes/postponement or cancellations in conducting the CBSE 10th, 12th exams 2022.
