No. Candidates will be able to fill in the choices in JoSAA counselling only once after the registration process. Candidates are given only one chance to enter their choice, edit the choices, rearrange them before the choice filling deadline. JoSAA advises the candidates to pay the seat acceptance fee on the first day of the respective round itself and not wait for the last day, so that their documents may be verified, leaving sufficient time for the candidate to properly respond to the queries / additional queries, if any, of the reporting officer.

The JoSAA 2025 counselling round 1 will start today, with the seat allotment result to be out at 10 am. All activities in JoSAA round 1 should be completed by the candidates by June 18.

• Upon receiving a seat allocation, the candidate must accept the allocated seat and choose one of the options – 'Freeze', 'Slide', or 'Float' - for the academic program choice for any subsequent round(s), if applicable, of joint seat allocation.
