NCHMCT JEE results 2026 was released on May 22, 2026. Candidates can download their NCHM JEE scorecard from the NTA official website. How is NCHMCT JEE Exam Rank Calculated?

The NCHMCT JEE exam rank is calculated based on the marks obtained by candidates in the entrance test. The score is determined using the marking scheme: four marks are awarded for each correct answer, and one mark is deducted for every incorrect response.

After evaluating all responses, candidates are ranked in order of their total scores. In case of a tie, the following criteria are applied in sequence:

  1. Higher marks in the English section

  2. Higher marks in the Service Aptitude section

  3. Older age of the candidate

The final merit list is then prepared based on these ranks for counselling and admission.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Result Tie-Breaking Policy

NCHMCT JEE merit list 2026 is prepared based on marks secured by candidates in the hotel management entrance exam. In case two or more aspirants secure the same marks in NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam, the following tie-breaking criteria will be applicable:

  • If two candidates get the same total marks in NCHMCT JEE 2026, the one with higher marks in the English section will be given a better rank.

  • If the marks in both total and English section are also the same, then the candidate scoring higher in the Service Aptitude section will be placed higher in rank.

  • If the tie remains after that, the candidate who is older in age will be ranked higher in the NCHMCT JEE 2026 merit list.
