No, there are no changes made to the AILET BA LLB exam pattern for 2026. The question paper for the BA LLB exam will have a total of 150 questions. Candidates need to solve these questions within 120 minutes.

NLU Delhi released the revised notification for AILET 2026, accroding to which the exam date was revised from December 07, 2025 to December 14, 2025. The exam will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm at the designated centres across the country. 

In case, the application fee payment fails during the AILET 2026 application, candidates will have to re-attempt their payment after some time or wait for a few hours to refresh the database andtry again.

The official NLU Delhi website is going through certain changes, and thus it is unable to load. There are possibilities of AILET 2026 registration starting anytime soon.

Read the guidelines regarding uploading signature on the AILET 2025 application form as per the instructions given below:

• Candidates will have to upload the scanned signature without overwriting on white paper sheet.
• The Size of the image should not be more than 1MB.
• Candidate should use a Black/Blue pen within a box of 6x3cms (width*height).
• The scanned signature should be in .jpg/jpeg/png format only.

Candidates must ensure to upload the photograph as per the instructions given below:

• Candidates should upload his/her passport-size coloured photograph with white background.
• Size of image should not be more than 1 MB.
• Passport size photograph should not have cap, goggles etc. (Spectacles are allowed).
• The face of the candidate should cover about 75% of the photograph.
• The photograph must clearly show the face of the candidate in the preview box/page.
• Image should be in .jpg/jpeg/png format.
• The candidate should keep two identical photographs with him/ her, in reserve, which may be used for pasting on the Admit Card at the time of Entrance Test/ Counselling/ Admission if required.

The AILET 2026 question paper pattern will be as follows:

The AILET PhD in Law syllabus 2026 includes the topics based on advanced legal research. The candidates will also be required to submit a research paper after completion of AILET 2026 entrance exam. 

The question paper of AILET 2026 PG will include the core Law subject topics. The candidates will have to attempt a total of 100 multiple-choice questions in the AILET 2026 LLM question paper. These questions will be asked from different branches of Law.

The AILET UG 2026 Syllabus for BA LLB consists of three sections: English Language, Current Affairs & General Knowledge, and Legal Reasoning. Candidates may refer to the top books to prepare for the examination along with practicing previous year questions.

The AILET examination will be conducted for duration of 120 minutes. The AILET exam 2026 was scheduled to be held on December 07, 2025 earlier, however, due to exam date clash with the CLAT 2026, the AILET exam date has been revised to December 14, 2025.
