The SLAT results for all SLSs are released at the same time. Here, all candidates must be aware that all SLSs simultaneously announce the SLAT exam results for Tests 1 and Test 2. To allow candidates to check SLAT results for all SLS, Symbiosis International University (SIU) publishes them on the website of the Symbiosis Entrance Test, set-test. Org. The results mention details like the names and roll numbers of candidates, as well as the marks and percentages obtained by them. SLAT results for a particular year are only valid for admissions accepted to SLSs in the same academic year.

The SLAT merit list for a particular year is a list containing the name, registration number, and roll number of the candidates who achieved marks equal to or higher than the SLAT cut-off for the SLAT entrance exam conducted in the same year. In the context of SLAT results, PI refers to Personal Interaction or Personal Interview which is conducted after the Written Ability Test (What) round of the SLAT exam. The Symbiosis Internation Law University has discontinued Writing Ability Test from the SLAT Admission Process. The SLAT has not been released by anyone. However, the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Authority provides details on the sections from which questions are asked in the SLAT exam. SET is the conducting body of the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) entrance exam. The sections ascertained by the authority from which questions are asked in the exam are Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge, and General English. Thus, it can be stated that the SET Authority does not release a detailed syllabus for SLAT, but it provides an overview of the syllabus.

Preparing current affairs for SLAT preparation require legal and general knowledge of events happened in recent years. You can refer to the previous year papers to know the kind of questions asked. 

 

To prepare for this section, read the SLAT question banks from prior years. Try to stay focused as you practise SLAT mock exams and sample papers. Go through the Analytical Reasoning section important topics. 

 

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test authority does not provide subtle details about the SLAT syllabus. Thus, the syllabus for SLAT cannot be specified accurately. The exam authority only shares the details associated with the sections related to the SLAT question paper, which are Analytical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, General English, and General Knowledge. Thus, candidates only study to prepare for relevant sections along with mathematics (of level up to Class 10) and current affairs to prepare for SLAT.

Candidates cannot get SLAT question papers of previous years for free because the conduction body of SLAT, the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) authority, does not release previous years’ question papers of the exam. Candidates need to focus more on topics related to the SLAT syllabus to prepare for this law entrance exam. SLAT exam authority uses University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines for SLAT reservation policy. As per the exam authority, the total percentage of reserved seats for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates is 15. The total percentage of seats reserved for Scheduled Tries candidates in SLAT is 7.5%. The exam authority has reserved 5% of seats for wards of Defence Personnel at Symbiosis Law School Pune. The reservation facility for wards of Defence personnel is not available at the other three Symbiosis Law Schools. Moreover, 3% of total seats are reserved for Different Able candidates in all SLSs through SLAT.

A candidate desirous of submitting his candidate to select UG programmes is also required to complete the payment process for the desired programme before the losing date for payment of the same. Payment towards the programmes must be made through the website only (set-test.org). After making the payment for SLAT, proceed to complete the online registration form (Part II) for programme registration and the respective institute (s). A candidate is required to make a separate, non-refundable, and non-transferable payment of INR 1000 per programme per institute at this stage.

 

The test centres for SLAT in nothern India are located in Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.
