MP High Court Verdict on NEET 2025 Result

The Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on a Hearing dated June 9, 2025, has ordered for declaration of the NEET 2025 result for all candidates, except for the 75 affected candidates, who had filed a petition. The NEET 2025 result is scheduled to be declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) by June 14, 2025.

NTA had submitted report in the previous hearing at the Indore bench of the MP High Court. However, it was observed that a retest will not be conducted for 75 candidates. The petitioners had filed a case at the MP High Court on account of facing inconvenience at the centre owing to power cut and rainfall.

As per a report by Nai Dunia, as many as 8,790 candidates had appeared for the exam in the affected areas. Although the MP High Court had ordered stay on the NEET 2025 result on a hearing dated May 15, 2025, it was later amended on May 16, 2025.

Now, except for the results of 75 candidates, the Court has given orders to release the results of all the other candidates.

It is not clear at the moment whether there would be a retest for these 75 candidates or NTA would devise any other mechanism to calculate the result for the petitioners.

Madras High Court Removed Stay on NEET 2025 Result

The Madras High Court has removed the stay order levied earlier on the NEET 2025 result declaration, based on the writ petitions filed by candidates stating inconvenience in writing the exam due to power cut at the exam centre. The Court heard the case on Friday, June 6, 2025, led by Justice C Kumarappan. The hearing also saw dismissal of the plea to conduct a retest for NEET 2025.

The NEET 2025 provisional answer key was released on June 3, 2025, and the last date to submit objections was June 5, 2025.
