Q:   What is the qualifying NEET cut off for General category candidates?
A: 

The qualifying NEET 2025 cutoff marks for General category candidates is 144. Last year it was 162. As expected, the NEET 2025 cutoff for General category candidates is lower than last year. The reason is, the difficulty level of NEET was tougher this year as compared to last year. The competition level has become even higher, along with the increase in the number of seats.

AIIMS Delhi Seats for Indian & Foreign Nationals

Out of the total 132 AIIMS Delhi MBBS Seats, 125 seats are for Indian nationals and 7 seats are for Foreign nationals. These seats are filled through MCC NEET UG Counselling of candidates who clear the NEET exam.

AIIMS Delhi Seats Reservation for General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST & PwD

The reservation policy of the Government of India is applicable for AIIMS MBBS seats in Delhi. Go through the category-wise distribution of AIIMS Delhi MBBS seats below-

AIIMS Delhi MBBS Seats for General Category

For General category candidates, there are a total of 46 seats in AIIMS Delhi for MBBS course. 

AIIMS Delhi MBBS Seats for OBC category

A total of 32 seats are reserved for OBC category candidates in AIIMS Delhi. However, such candidates need to ensure that they do not belong to creamy layer. Candidates need to have OBC category certificates at the time of counselling to apply for these seats.

AIIMS Delhi MBBS Seats for SC category

AIIMS Delhi has allocated 18 seats for SC category candidates. Such candidates need to produce SC category certificates at the time of counselling.

AIIMS Delhi MBBS Seats for ST category

AIIMS Delhi has nine designated seats for ST category. Applicants need to produce the necessary certificate during the counselling. 

AIIMS Delhi MBBS Seats for EWS category

Out of the total 132 seats, a total 20 seats are reserved for EWS category candidates.

AIIMS Delhi MBBS Seats for PwD category

As per the reservation norms, 5 per cent of total seats in each respective category are allocated to PwD category candidates.

No. NEET is mandatory for all MBBS admissions in India, government, private, deemed, or minority institution. The Supreme Court of India has made NEET the single entrance exam for all UG medical admissions across the country, and there are no exceptions.
