CUET PG 2026 application correction process was opened on January 28, at 10 AM. Registered candidates could make corrections or changes in the application form by January 30, 2026, till 11.50 PM. The National Testing Agency specified the editable and uneditable fields in the CUET PG 2026 application correction process.

The CUET PG 2026 form process ended on January 23, 2026, at 11.50 PM. The last date to submit the CUET PG application fee was January 25, 2026, by 11.50 PM. The last date of application was extended twice, from January 14 to January 20, and further till January 23, 2026. As per the CUET PG 2026 important dates, the exam will be conducted from March 6, 2026. Based on the corrections or changes made by candidates, NTA will issue their CUET PG 2026 admit card

CUET PG 2026 Application Correction/ Modification

Only those candidates who submitted the application form and paid the requisite application fee were eligible to make changes in the application form between January 28 and January 30, 2026.

If candidates made any mistakes in the CUET PG 2026 registration forms, they could correct them in the correction window. Here we have provided steps to correct the application form:

  • Click on "Sign In" tab or the application form correction link.

  • Then click on the login button & enter user id and password.

  •  After login you can change specific details in CUET PG 2026 Application form.

  •  Save the changes and take the printout of the form for future use.

Editable and Non-Editable Fields in CUET PG 2026 Application Form

The CUET PG 2026 modification window allowed candidates to update their personal details, educational qualifications, exam centre preferences, and other relevant particulars. The aim is to ensure that all applications are accurate and complete before the final processing stage.

CUET PG 2026 Form Correction: Details can be corrected

The following section brings the list of fields that could be edited:

  • Candidate Name, or
  • Father Name, or
  • Mother Name
  • Choice of CUET exam centres and exam cities
  • Exam Paper
  • GCP (for changing Gender or Category or PwD status in the application)
  • Change Identity details from AADHAAR to another identity type

Candidates could make changes in any one of the following fields:

  • Candidate Name
  • Father's Name
  • Mother's Name

They will not be able to change all three or more than one field.

CUET PG 2026 Form Correction: Details couldn't be corrected

  • Mobile Number
  • Email address
  • Permanent or present address
  • Application number
  • Date of application submission
  • Candidate's photograph
  • Candidate's Signature.

Although there was no fee levied for the CUET PG 2026 application correction process, in case the application fee is impacted due to the change in candidate category, then they had to pay the additional fee amount. No fee was refunded for the reduction of test papers.

Q:   Is there any fee for making corrections in CUET PG application form 2026?

No, candidates did not need to pay any fees for making corrections in the CUET PG application form. However, if any candidate changed his/her category from SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD to the unreserved category, they need to pay the application correction fees. For making any other changes, candidates did not have to pay any fees. NTA did not refund the fee for the reduction of test papers or due to a change in category. 

Q:   Will NTA notify via email about the incorrect details filled out in CUET PG application form?

No, NTA did not notify via email if a candidate filled out some incorrect details regarding the CUET PG application form. However, after filling out the application form, candidates are advised to check the application form meticulously to avoid any incorrect details being filled. 

If candidates found that they filled some incorrect details, they will get the opportunity to rectify it during the CUET PG application correction window period.

What after CUET PG 2026 Application Process

After submitting the CUET PG 2026 application form, students are advised to save the application form in the form of a PDF or print out the application form for future use. The CUET PG application form will have the candidate's details such as the CUET PG application number, which is needed at the time of downloading the CUET PG Admit card.

Candidates are also instructed to save the login credentials details of the account they have created on the CUET PG 2026 log-in portal. These login credentials will be needed at every further stage including the release of the admit card, provisional answer key, response sheet, and result of the candidate. Q:   The session expired while filling the CUET PG application form. What should I do?
A: 

Candidates filling the CUET PG 2026 application form had to fill and submit it within 30 minutes of logging into the registered account. Also, they must have kept saving each section of the application form to avoid filling it again if the session expired. To ensure completing the form in under 30 minutes, applicants were advised to keep all the information handy.

Even if due to some reasons candidates were not able to fill the form in a one go and the session got expired, they need not to worry about it. Candidates can again visit the official webiste, prior to thst delete the history of the previous login in the CUET PG portal and then again start completing the application process from the part where the information was not earlier saved.

Q:   How many city preferences one can fill out in CUET PG Application form?
A: 

For the CUET PG 2026 exam, candidates could fill out a maximum of four city preferences. Although initially, NTA announced the selection of two exam cities, as per a later notification, candidates could choose four exam cities in their present or permanent address.

How to Fill CUET PG Application Form 2026

Candidates had to follow the steps given below to apply for CUET PG 2026 registration form:

Registration Form 

First and foremost, aspirants had to register for the CUET PG 2026 exam by visiting the official portal - https://exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/

They had to click on the Register Now tab and fill up the personal and contact details to create a password and select a Security Question and its answer. After submitting the details, the Registration Number or User ID and Password were generated. This must be preserved till the admission process is completed. The following information had to be entered for completing the registration process:

  • Candidate Name

  • Father’s Name

  • Mother’s Name

  • Guardian’s Name

  • Date of Birth from the drop-down box

  • Gender

  • Nationality

  • Identity Type (Select a valid Photo Identity Card type)

  • Identity Card Number

  • Present and Permanent Address

  • Email ID

  • Mobile Number and Alternate Contact Number

  • Choose Password (8-13 characters with one special character, one uppercase character, one lowercase character and one numeric character)

  • Select a Security Question and Answer

  • Enter Security Pin

  • Verify the submitted details

  • Enter OTP sent to Mobile Number 

Application Form Fill Up

The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form, including filling up of personal details, applying for the Paper, choosing the Examination Cities, providing the details of Educational Qualifications, and uploading the images and documents (if any).

Below are the personal details to be filled in the application form:

  • Confirmation of PwBD category

  • Selecting reserved categories
  • Parent’s Qualification

  • Parent’s Occupation

  • Annual Family Income

  • Domicile State

  • Place of Residence

  • Medium of Studying in Qualifying Education - Class 10, 12, Graduation (School/ College name, passing marks, board name, year of passing, percentile/percentage)

  • Select four exam cities in preferential order within the present or permanent address, based on which the CUET PG 2026 exam centre will be allotted
  • Other Quota & Category Information and Confirmation, such as BPL, Kashmiri Migrant, Ward of Defence Personnel or Ex-Serviceman, Claim for NCC Quota, Claim for Sports Quota, Ward of University Employee

Applicants have to upload the following documents:

Candidates are requested to upload scanned images of their photograph and Signature in the format described below.

Along with the upload of the photograph, candidates have to get a live photograph captured through web camera during the application process.  
Application Fee Payment

After completing the CUET PG registration and filling the application form, candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The fee can be submitted online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI modes. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank Payment Gateway Integrator.
The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the fee, then candidates have to approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway (in the helpline number and e-mail given in the Information Bulletin) for ensuring the successful payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate/multiple payments.
Candidates have to download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the CUET PG 2026 Application Form for future reference.

How to check CUET PG Application Form Status

After filling and submitting the application form and paying the online registration fee, applicants should check and confirm the final status as "Submitted". In case the fee is not paid or the form is not submitted properly, the status will be displayed as "Not Submitted". If the candidates have not completed all the steps of the CUET PG 2026 application form and want to pay the registration fee, they will not be able to pay the registration fee. Q:   How to select a university programme while filling out CUET PG application form?
A: 

One of the important stages of filling out CUET PG 2026 application form is selection of university programme list. Candidates are advised to select their desired university and programme offered through it wisely, otherwise it may create hindrances in the CUET PG 2026 counselling process.

Step 1: After adding the exam centre city preferences, candidates will then have to select the University/Programme selection.

Step 2: In this section, candidates are required to select the university name first and then select the programme name. Likewise, candidates can select up to four universities and its allied programmes offered. After adding the university programme choices, save the details and move on to the next sections.

Step 3: In this section, candidates need to add the test details. Add the test paper subject code from the drop-down options mentioned in the window. After adding all the respective test paper codes of the university programme list which was selected in the previous step, save the details.

 

 

Q:   How many subjects can be opted in CUET PG while filling the application form?
A: 

CUET PG 2026 examination will be scheduled in March 2026. Aspirants preparing for the CUET PG exam could fill the online application form from December 14 to January 23, 2026. While filling up the CUET PG online application form, test taker can select only one subject in one slot of the examination day. However, from the previous year academic year, they were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all.

Before choosing multiple subjects for the examination, candidates are advised to check the minimum education eligibility criteria for the particular course they have applied for. Also, check the university-specific subject criteria for the subject a candidate wants to appear for.

CUET PG Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility factors decided by the Central Universities in order to apply and appear for CUET PG 2026. NTA has announced the eligibility criteria or factors in the information bulletin, which has been released along with the CUET PG application form 2026. The eligibility criteria for CUET PG 2026 are as follows:

  • Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised institute
  • Final year students are also eligible to apply, provided they pass the qualifying exam before the counselling process
  • There is no age limit for applying for CUET PG exam. However, universities may have separate eligibility criteria regarding age limit or other factors

Note:

  • For admission in Universities through CUET PG 2026, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, etc. of the
    respective University shall be applicable.
  •  As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.
  • Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying.

The CUET PG 2026 application fee has to be paid in online mode only. The different modes of payment are as follows:

Before starting the application process, candidates should keep the payment details handy so that there are no last-minute hassles.

CUET PG 2026 Application Form: Important Documents

Before paying the CUET PG 2026 registration fee, the most important step in the CUET PG application form 2026 was uploading the CUET PG 2026 documents. The exam authority did not ask for any graduation or category certificates to be uploaded. However, candidates are required to upload the following documents:

Candidates had to upload scanned images of candidate Photograph and Signature in the format specified below:
i. The recent photograph should be in colour with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears, against a white background.
ii. The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
iii. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb and 200 kb (clearly visible).
iv. The size of the scanned signature should be between 10 kb and 50 kb (clearly legible)

v. A scanned copy of the PWD/PwBD Certificate should be named 'Disability Certificate' and in PDF format, between 50 kb and 300 kb
In case, it is found at any time in the future that the Candidate has used/uploaded the photograph and signature of someone else in his/her Application Form/Admit Card, or he/she has tampered his/her Admit Card/Result/Score Card, these acts of the candidate shall be treated as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices and he/she shall be subject to actions as contemplated under the provisions of the Information Bulletin relating to Unfair Means Practices.

CUET PG application form 2026 was released on December 14, 2025, to provide admissions to postgraduate degree programs like MA, MSc, MCom, MTech, MFA, and other professional degrees like MBA, BEd, LLB, and LLM courses. The last date was January 23, 2026.

The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card and UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable from the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator.

Q:   What will happen if, mistakenly, I upload someone else's photograph in the CUET PG application form?
A: 

In case, it is found at any time in the future that the Candidate has used/uploaded the photograph and signature of someone else in his/her Application Form/Admit Card, or he/she has tampered his/her Admit Card/Result/Score Card, these acts of the candidate shall be treated as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices and he/she shall be subject to actions as contemplated under the provisions of the Information Bulletin relating to Unfair Means Practice.

There is only one section A for CUET PG exam. Section B which comprises general awarenessa and knowledge has been removed as per exam pattern. CUET PG 2026 application form process has been concluded. Last date to submit application form was January 23, 2026. Correction window was active till January 30, 2026. Exam is scheduled to be held from March 6 till March 27, 2026 for various courses. No extension has been provided by NTA.

NTA has reduced number of centres from 312 to 292 in CUET PG 2026. In addition, students can choose 4 city choices. Earlier they were provided only 2 options. This time, students will have to answer only A section which is domain specific.
