Pantnagar University Entrance Exam Pattern 2026: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

After the exam, the university checks the answer sheets and gives the GBPUAT Results. If you qualify, you go for counselling. You choose your course and pay fees. Bring all documents for verification and get admission to your preferred courses. 

Once the exam is over for all UG, PG and Doctoral courses, the result is announced. Before the GBPUAT Result announcement, the answer key is released for the final evaluation of marks. The GBPUAT merit list is based on the GBPUAT exam marks. Higher marks mean a better rank. Reservation rules are also used. The list is published online and used for counselling.

The GBPUAT Admit Card will be out on the official website of GBPUAT  for UG, MCA, Masters, DVPLE, and PhD programs. Candidates should visit the official website to download their admit card. They need use their login credentials to donwload the admit card.

The GBPUAT Entrance exam is held by the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology GBPUAT. The exam is conducted once a year for students who want admission in UG, PG, and Doctoral courses. These courses are studied in fields like Agriculture, technology and allied sciences. 

As per last year's data, the admission process mostly starts in the first week of March. Therefore, every year, students must visit the official portal more often to check out the official notification. Once the GBPUAT application process start students need to complete their application process before the end date.

The GBPUAT 2026 Hall Ticket will be announced on the official portal online. The release date is expected in May. It is mandatory to bring it on the exam day. If there are errors in the hall ticket reach the exam official and correct it before exam.

Students need to complete their application process before the end date to be able to download the GBPUAT Admit Card. They need to use their login credentials to be able to download the hall ticket when it is released by the exam officials. It is mandatory to bring the GBPUAT Hall Ticket to the exam centre. 

The exam will be held by GBPUAT in offline mode. It is expected in June 2026. The application forms will be available from March 2026. The exam will have multiple-choice questions. For UG courses, questions will be from Class 11 and 12 syllabus. For PG courses, questions will be from related subjects. The exam will be for 3 hours. The language of the exam is English. Yes, it is mandatory to get the admit card to the exam centre. Students need to carry a valid ID proof and their GBPUAT Hall Ticket to their allotted exam centre. If someone forgets to carry their entry ticket, they will not be allowed in the centre.

Pantnagar University entrance exam is conducted for 600 marks. The question paper will have four sections. There will be 200 questions in Pantnagar University entrace exam. Each question carries three marks. 1 mark is reduced for wrong answers.

GBPUAT exam for the undergraduate programme is conducted for 600 marks. Students must score 500+ marks in the exam. To achieve this, students follow the Pantnagar University entrance exam syllabus and paper pattern. Also, plan a proper preparation strategy.
