Both IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay are top choices for students wishing to pursue BTech. The NIRF rank of both the colleges are neck to neck. In NIRF 2025 rankings, IIT Delhi was ranked 2 whereas IIT Bombay was at 3 under Engineering category. BTech cutoffs of both the institutes are equally competitive.
