Only the language barrier is a problem, else life is great at SRMIST KTR.
Placements: Around 94% of students were placed in my course.
The highest package of AML was a year ago; this year it was from cloud computing. Last year, the highest package of AI was INR 1.1 CR pa. Many top recruiting companies, like Google and Amazon, visit AI engineers about internships. We get freedom from 4 semesters itself; we can apply on our own. There is a special community for internships.
Infrastructure: A huge library with three floors filled with books, tables, and comfortable movable computer chairs with all-time central AC service is a calm and good place for studying. On weekends, you can find couples there too. Lol. As we all know, SRM has its own global medical center and medical college on campus.
Faculty: Here comes the problem, as teachers are mostly from the south area, so mostly all faculty speak either English, broken English, Tamil, or some south languages. Me personally, being from Rajasthan, had a lot of problems at the start, but gradually it sorted itself out. Semester exams are not very tough, but yes, they are enough to score a pass percentage of 50%.

Average faculty, beautiful and eventful campus, lots of things to do around, very good placements.
Placements: This year, six people from computational intelligence have been placed. There are bulk placements this semester. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. If you can use the resources the college provides you with appropriately, getting a job in the range of 15 LPA to 20 LPA would not be that hard. Many companies keep coming every year.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi everywhere on campus. There are a lot of trees on campus. The library is filled with books on all four floors. The hostels can accommodate everyone. The boys' hostel is well equipped with every necessity a person would require to live comfortably. The mess serves good food. The hospital is free for all SRM students and is open for most days, while the emergency section stays open 24X7. We have multiple courts and grounds.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful regarding the subjects. The teaching quality depends on the teacher. Some teachers simply read PPTs, while others explain them. The curriculum is relevant, and it is a big strength. The semester exams are very easy. The valuation is very lenient. The pass percentage is around 80%.
Other: I chose this course because this college is the only one in India offering artificial intelligence, which is an emerging field in the industry. I would be the second branch to graduate with a degree in artificial intelligence. The course should be constantly updated as the field is undergoing frequent changes. It conducts one of the biggest festivals in the country. The campus is filled with people. It has a lot of greenery.

I am very satisfied with placements in 2021.
Placements: The highest salary package offered was 42 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Google, Microsoft, and Capgemini. Many students got internships in this course. In 4th-year, students work on projects.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available in our college. Classrooms are maintained properly. It also has a central library. Wi-Fi is enabled on campus. Canteens are also available. All types of laboratories are provided. Triple and four sharing rooms are available with attached or non-attached bathrooms. Both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms are available. The food served in the mess is good. Medical service is available 24X7. Hostels also provide equipment for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly but few of them are strict. Every month, they conduct cycle tests, assignments, and mini-projects. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.

Our college provides good placements, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Almost 99% of students got placed in our course. The minimum salary package offered was 5 LPA. The maximum salary package offered was 45 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Bank of America, Accenture, and CTS. This college senior offers guidelines to juniors for placements and further studies.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are well furnished with a power supply. Laboratory is also well-maintained. Computers are also good, and our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The hostel atmosphere is well-maintained. There are many sports in this college. It also provides a gym facility for hostel students to work out.
Faculty: Professors are doctors in our college, and they have 15 years of experience. They are also very knowledgeable. Faculty members always clear our doubts. The syllabus is updated. All activities are conducted to improve the performance of the students.
Other: I opted for this course because it is very famous. This course is advanced for future technologies.

It has a good infrastructure.
Placements: This is a new course, and there is no past placement record. The first batch will graduate in 2024. Placements for the related courses are pretty good. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA and the highest is 42 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and chalkboards. They are all air-conditioned. There are Wi-Fi facilities for every student with a speed of up to 100 Mbps. The library is a well-equipped three-story building and has more than 10,000 books. Labs are also well-equipped with the latest equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members are average, and the curriculum is good compared to other colleges with up-to-date courses. Some faculty members are good, and some are not that knowledgeable about the curriculum. There are four cycle tests per semester, each of which contributes 50 marks out of 100 for the end-semester examination.
Other: I chose this course because it is relatively new and has good scope in the future. It would be better to have faculty members who are experts in this field. Events and workshops are conducted regularly. There are a lot of extracurricular activities in SRM.

Average placements and good infrastructure but absolutely poor faculty.
Placements: Placements are above average in our college. They conduct good placements with companies and give placement classes. If you have B.Tech then placements are close to guaranteed though the quality of the placements may vary person to person according to their performance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. The Wi-Fi is fast and available on the whole campus. There is a lake available. It is a nice and clean campus. All the facilities are available except for swimming pool which is available to select few. Library is also indeed impressive.
Faculty: In our college, there are very poor faculty members. They don't know what they are teaching and spend most of their time in sorting out their grudges with students. There are lots of discrimination on the basis of hometown too. Some of the faculty members are nice but the majority of them aren't worthy to be called as professors. Even their English is so bad that it's affecting my own grammar skills.
Other: Faculty members should be very much above the standards SRM has set.

Above average in terms of everything.
Placements: AI intelligence is a new discipline which comes under the newly formed department know as CINTEL (computational Intelligence)
And I belong to the first batch of this new course so no data about this particular department on salary estimate is available. Exclusive courses offered includes arduino programming under smart manufacturing, foundational data analytics, theory on AI etc., and other programming etc.
Infrastructure: Whole campus have Wi-Fi which works above average. It has the itkm department which is really fast in replying to your concern regarding Wi-Fi and all really fast not all the time though. Hostel are maintained and all your problems will be listened and solved soon as possible. Although sometimes it is not the case. And you may have to visit them more than once. Overall hostels are livable. Hostel food has different variety you will be given fruits at night. Chicken two times a week. Egg two times a week. Tea coffee everyday two times. So yes everything is eatable too. Don't expect too much about taste of food though it is above average for sure in my opinion. SRM has got a great library too. It is I would say one of the highlights of this place.
Faculty: Faculty are very responsive and friendly you can ask them anything they will be their for if you respectful to them. Some teacher are not good in solving student problems so yes it *** many a times you will any new update before your faculty advisory.
Other: If you are someone who is good at sports or want to play it has got a lot of facilities although those facility are exclusive for sports quota students and you will have to have your own equipments most of the times.

The campus life is amazing.
Placements: There are several opportunities although most placements are by companies who hire in bulk. TCS Digital gives packages of around 8 Lacs and most of the placement companies like Amazon and Microsoft also pay a visit but competition is very tough for these companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there in the whole campus and speed is very good including hostels, you may not like mess food but that's the story of every college the food is edible sometimes there's a special menu. The sports facility is not accessible due to the huge crowd but if you are good in any sports you would be backed by college.
Faculty: Teachers in terms of degrees are qualified. It's hard to cope up with them although some professors can be unreasonable. Library will come to your rescue everyday that's not even a concern, course curriculum and syllabus may look unreasonable again but study before some days of exams can give you a decent CGPA.

Students who have not studied Mathematics as one of the major subjects in +2 must undertake an additional 4 credit courses in Mathematics during the First Year of B.Tech.
Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa.
Students who have not studied Chemistry should undergo a bridge course in Chemistry in the first year.
