SRM Kattankulathur College Review.
Placements: Anyone who prepares gets placed. The highest placement is 1 crore, the lowest is 1.2 lakhs, with the average being 6 lakhs. Almost all famous companies such as PayPal, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc., conduct their recruitment exams. There is no information about the percentage of students placed, but it can be estimated at around 70%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of classrooms and labs is good, all of it is air-conditioned. Hostels are overly crowded, but hygiene is maintained, and the mess food is decent. There is a hospital nearby for emergencies, and the Wi-Fi has great speed, although most entertainment sites are banned, and online gaming is not allowed.
Faculty: In SRM, the faculty members are extremely bad and almost useless for any kind of knowledge gaining. The situation is almost the same as in any other college. On the other hand, there is no pressure for assignments, as most teachers are not strict about that, and good marks are really easy to maintain in SRM.

Our college has great placements in 2022 and excellent faculty members.
Placements: Placements are good and well managed by the university. Around 90%–95% of students belonging to the computer science branch are placed. In our course, each student was placed with an average salary package of 10 LPA. The highest salary package was 1.6 CPA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA by TCS. The top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, and Accenture. Other companies, like HPE, IBM, Wells Fargo, Barclays, etc., also recruited many students. Mostly, companies that come early for recruitment, like IBM, HPE, and Wells Fargo, make it mandatory for selected candidates to attend internships. Around 50%-60% of students get internships. The roles include software developer, data analyst, associate developer, associate consultant, business analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our department consist of computer labs and libraries. Apart from that, SRM has recently created an Apple lab, which consists of about 20 to 40 Mac PCs. The hostel facilities are excellent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with proper cleaning on a daily basis. The mess food is better in comparison to many well-known universities. Canteens provide a variety of options. SRM Hospital is inside the campus, which allows free health checkups for students of the university.
Faculty: Teachers have good experience dealing with students and their problems. Mostly, the doubts of students are cleared by teachers. They are knowledgeable and friendly as well. The quality of teaching is great and erudite. The course focuses more on a practical approach for students. They encourage students to create projects in a variety of subjects, making all students industry-ready. Semester exams are of medium difficulty. Students need to understand the core concepts and how they work in order to crack the semester exams. The pass percentage is 70%–75%.
Other: The course mainly focuses on developing data analytics and machine learning skills. If a student is interested in such a field, he or she may apply for this course. In our course, everything is good, and nothing needs improvement. Fests are organised almost twice a year, and events are organised on special occasions or some random occasions as well. The crowd is diversified and friendly. Scholarships are available for different categories for which the individual qualifies.

It has good faculty, infrastructure, placement, and null campus life.
Placements: Placements are completely based on your skills. The college brings many good companies. It is a good thing about here you should focus on your skills because that will get you placed in a good company. Should focus on coding if looking for an IT company job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not very good. Classrooms do not have air conditioners. There are two elevators there but mostly you will not get space. The hostel is okay some restrictions are there and the mess is not tasty but edible. Prefer air-conditioned two sharing rooms if you can. There are no sports.
Faculty: The faculty is well educated and qualified. They teach well and clarify all your doubts they give attention to your needs. The curriculum is like just any other private college. You can get good marks it is not that tough, I would advise you to maintain good attendance in classes.
Other: I took a B.tech in Computer Science Big data analytics to go into the field of Data Science. Connectivity is good in the college.

I'm dissatisfied due to online education. It has nice placements, nice environment and no ragging.
Placements: About 7,000 students got placed this year in the first phase of placements. The highest salary package offered was 37 LPA in the 4th year of the 1st semester to our seniors. Many companies did not visit here up to now, and we are expecting that they will visit in the future. The lowest salary package offered will be 4 LPA, which will be provided by TCS, Cognizant and Infosys in mass recruitment. The average salary package offered was 9 LPA for all the students. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Barkley's, Linked In and many other top MNCs visit here.
Infrastructure: There is a nice infrastructure on the campus, and the roads are very clean. Dustbins are provided approximately at every 100 meters. There is Wi-Fi in every building of the campus, and it's free and unlimited for students and staff members. Labs and classrooms are nice and effective. The library is huge and enough to have concentration, and it is sprawled over 3 floors. The quality of facilities provided in the hostel depends on the type of hostel you choose. The food served here is average.
Faculty: Maximum all the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. But some teachers are very irritating and don't understand our concern. The course was relevant and will make you ready for the industry. The exams will be strict in the final year, where marks depend on faculty members. Pass marks are 50 out of 100 marks, including internals.

Placements: Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys and TCS visited for placements. Almost everyone got placement. The top roles offered are Software Development Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist. The highest package offered to date is Rs 41 LPA. The lowest package provided was Rs 4 LPA. The average salary goes somewhere around 6-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The quality of food is pretty average, not that bad and not that great. The canteen is found in abundance. Wi-Fi is provided everywhere on campus. Medical facilities are provided in terms of the hospital where the treatment is provided free, only medicinal expenditures we have to bear.
Faculty: The teachers are overall good and experienced in their subjects and specialisations. The teaching quality varies from section to section but overall it's the same. The curriculum makes students ready for industry and for Masters. The exams are relatively easy to pass. Almost everyone passes the semester exams.

Different hidden beauties of srm.
Placements: Good placement if u have good skill and knowledge, srm is good option for those who studies avg they can improve their skill and there are lots of comptetions also, the highest I think 64 LPA and the lowest 7 LPA, those who have more than 9 CGPA they can sit for top companies placement.
Infrastructure: Good infrastrakchru well equipped classroom, library everything, cafeteria, high teach facilities, good hostel with lift and study room facilities, shops inside hostel compound, printing shop, stationary shop, food court everything u will get inside hostel compound.
Faculty: Very supportive faculty, really helping, and I feel like this course curriculum is relevant, semester exam is moderate level, not that much difficult, pass percentage is 50, u should score 50 out of 100, 60 internal and 40 external, if u score 50 internal then it is pass.
Other: Yah if u have good skill and your ready to improve your skill and knowledge then its worth, campus life is extraordinary .

SRM is famous with good placements, average facilities, moderate infrastructure but much crowded.
Placements: The highest salary package offered goes around more than 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered lies between 3-4 LPA, which is offered by mass recruiters. For the CSE branch, the salary packages offered are better as compared to other branches. Most of the students get internships during the course duration through the college internship fairs.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is average, but it is costly. Mess food is good as compared to other college messes, but they cost much. Our college has a big hospital of its own, which provides almost free appointments to its students. Wi-Fi facility is average, but it works better in odd hours.
Faculty: I am studying in the first year, so it will be unfair to comment on the course details. Some faculty members are good, but some others are average. However, sometimes we feel that they are partial towards local students. I feel that the courses are well-updated to modern industry requirements.
Other: The college is much crowd, and the facilities are average. The campus area is mostly covered by its buildings, and there is less space to roam around. Fests are exciting, but they are not overwhelming. It is strange that the college of such national recognition does not have proper competition in sports, culture, etc. Competitions are scattered and unpopular.

For B.Tech Programs offered by the Department of Biotechnology, Department of Genetic Engineering and Department of Biomedical Engineering – Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM / PMB/PCB/PCB or Z (Botany or Zoology). Students who have not studied Mathematics as one of the major subjects in +2 must undertake an additional 4 credit courses in Mathematics during the First Year of B.Tech.
Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa.
Students who have not studied Chemistry should undergo a bridge course in Chemistry in the first year.
Candidate Should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
