CBSE 10th Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) RELEASED the CBSE 10th compartment result 2025 on August 5, 2025 on the official website- results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in. Students can check their CBSE 10th Result 2025 using their admit card roll no, DOB, the centre, and school number.

The Board released the CBSE Class 10 result 2025 on May 13, 2025 at 1 PM. The overall pass percentage this year is 93.66.

The CBSE Class 10 result 2025 can also be checked via SMS, IVRS, Digilocker (results.digilocker.gov.in) and Umang App (https://umangresults.digilocker.gov.in/cbseakqiwrbgtplaskjbmuyrtdgfX.html). The CBSE 10th Result 2025 is also released on the newly-launched examination portal 'Pariksha Sangam'. All those who appeared for the CBSE 10th board exams can check their respective results by entering their important details such as date of birth, roll number, school number, etc. as mentioned in the CBSE 10th admit card.

The passing criteria for CBSE Class 10 exams state that a student must secure an overall 33% (including internal assessment and Class 10th Board examination) in all the subjects.

CBSE 10th exams 2025 were held between Feb 15 and March 18, 2025.

Steps to check CBSE Class 10th Result 2025 online at results.cbse.nic.in

Students can follow the steps listed below to check their CBSE 10th result 2025

  1. Visit the official site at cbseresults.nic.in.
  2. Click on the 'Results' tab.
  3. Choose either Class 10 or Class 12.
  4. Enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth.
  5. Click 'Submit'
  6. The CBSE 10th result 2025 will appear on the screen
  7. Take a printout and secure it

The online CBSE 10th Result 2025 mentions the marks obtained by students in each subject, division, grades, and other details of secondary exams.

It must be noted that the CBSE 10th Result 2025, which is released online,e is provisional. Students would be required to collect their original mark sheets and certificates from their respective schools. They can contact the authorities soon after the release of result. Around 18 lakh students appear in the CBSE class 10 examination every year.

Here's how to check CBSE result 2025 Class 10 with DigiLocker

  • Students can download their CBSE result 2025 by logging into the DigiLocker website or mobile application.
  • Students will get credentials for DigiLocker accounts on the phone via SMS.
  • Enter your details in the app to check CBSE Board 10th result 2025 online

An extra layer of security is added for downloading mark sheets from DigiLocker.

To get the marksheets from DigiLocker, students can visit the website — cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse for initiation of their account confirmation process. Students must note that they will need a PIN to download their marksheet from the app. How do you get it? To strengthen the security and privacy of the students data, the PIN has been introduced.

To confirm the DigiLocker account, students will first have to select their class first either class 10 or 12 and then enter their school code, and roll number. Further, they access the six-digit security PIN from their schools. The PIN will be provided by their school; if not received, students will have to contact their school. The PIN will be a numeric value. Example: If PIN given by the school is ‘012345’, students will have to enter only 012345.

CBSE 10th Result 2025 Rechecking, Revaluation, and Supplementary

Students can now apply to obtain photocopies of their answer sheet by paying a fee without having to necessarily apply for verification or revaluation. 

CBSE will likely declare the CBSE 10th supplementary result 2025 in the first week of August 2025. The CBSE supplementary exams will likely be held from July 15 to 22, 2025. The process for verification of the marks for class 10 shall be done from May 20 to 24, 2025. Students will be required to pay Rs 500 per subject for verification of marks as well as for obtaining photocopies of evaluated mark sheets. The application process for the re-evaluation of the answer sheets started from June 6. The re-evaluation fee per subject is Rs 100.

CBSE is expected to release the CBSE 10th Rechecking/Revaluation Result 2025 on June 27, 2025. Students can check their CBSE 10th result 2025 official website-  results.cbse.nic.in using the roll number, admit card number, and school number as mentioned on the admit card. Students who were not satisfied with their marks could apply for rechecking or revaluation of the papers by paying a fee. The process involves rechecking the marks by a different examiner while verification checks for any clerical error. 

The students who are not satisfied with their CBSE Class 10 result 2025 can apply for the verification process. Students are required to fill out the verification application form online on the official website. Once the application form is submitted, the board re-checks the answer sheets for totalling errors, missing out marks while totalling, or unchecked/ unmarked questions. After re-checking, the board will share the result with the students and allow them to request a photocopy of their re-checked CBSE Class 10th result 2025.

How to calculate CGPA of CBSE Class 10th Result 2025

Students can calculate the CGPA by following the instructions given below:

  1. Add the scored grade points of the five main subjects
  2. Now, divide the number by 5

Let's say the grade points for 5 subjects respectively are 8,8,7,9,8

Total= (8+8+7+9+8) = 40

Now average grade = 40/5

CGPA = 8

Here's how to convert CGPA into percentage

In order to convert the overall CGPA into the percentage, multiply it by 9.5

For example, For 8 CGPA, multiply it with 9.5

Thus, 8 x 9.5 = 76%

CBSE Board Class 10th Result 2025 data shows that 1,41,353 students have been placed in the compartment category.

This accounts for 5.96% of the total number of students who appeared for the exam this year.

  • In Class 10 Texas 2025, a total of 45516 or 1.92 per cent students scored 95 per cent or more marks.
  • This year, 199944 or 8.43 per cent of students secured 90 per cent or more marks in the CBSE Class 10 board examination. 
  • For Children with special needs (CWSN) - In Class 10, out of 9,248 students registered, 8,795 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 96.02%.
