Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education released MPBSE 12th time table 2026 on August 13, 2025. The MP Board 12th exams 2026 were held from February 10 to March 7, 2026. MP Board exams 2026 class 12 are held in a single shift from 9 am to 12 pm. The board also announced an official date for the MPBSE 12th practical exams. MPBSE class 12 practical exams were held from February 10 to March 10, 2026.
No, the MP Board does not deduct marks for incorrect answers in objective-type questions. Each correct answer carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers. This allows students to attempt all questions asked in MP Board 12th exams without worrying about losing marks. Hence, students must attemps all the questions asked in the MP Board exams.
So far, the MP Board exam pattern 2026 for class 12 exams has not been changed. Last year, the board made changes in the MPBSE 10th exam pattern. The number of short-answer-type questions (2 marks) has been increased, while the number of long answer questions (4 marks) is decreased. In MP Board class 12 exams, both objective and subjective type questions will be asked.

Practically, yes. From the last two years, the board has been conducting the MP Board class 12 second main exams instead of compartment exams. Students who fail in the class 12 exams or who want to improve their marks can appear for the MP Board 12th term 2 exams.
