Students appearing for NIOS 10th exam 2026 April-May are required to pay the exam fees through the official website, nios.ac.in. All registered learners of Oct/Nov 2025 can pay the exam fee from January 13 to January 22, 2026, without late fee. They can do the fee payment from January 23 to 27 January 27, 2026 with late fee INR 150 Per subject. They can also do the fee payment with consolidated late fee of INR 1600/- per learner from January 28 to February 1, 2026.
Students enrolled in stream 1, block 1 for March/April 2026 exam could pay the exam fee from Nov 21 to Dec 20, 2025 without late fee. They could do the fee payment from 21st December, 2025 to 31st December, 2025 with late fee INR 150 Per subject. With consolidated late fee INR 1600 Per learner, learners enrolled for April/May 2026 could pay from 01 January, 2026 to 10th January, 2026. NIOS Class 10th Exam Registration Schedule April-May 2026
The NIOS admits students of Class 10 in two cycles. All eligible students can register themselves through the official NIOS website. Students can start registration by visiting the official website. NIOS 10th dates April 2026 will be released in March 2026.

The NIOS 10th registration 2025 will be conducted in 3 streams. The streams are as follows:
- Stream 1: For Secondary course learners
- Stream 2: For students who failed in the exam conducted by recognised boards

Age Limit
The minimum age limit for NIOS 10th admission is 14 years. Candidate should have a valid proof of attaining 14 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course.
Minimum Education
He/she must have cleared class 8 from the recognised board or must possess enough knowledge to sit for the class 10 exam. The candidate who gives a self certificate stating that "I have studied and able to pursue the secondary course" is also eligible for admission to the Secondary Course. The learner who had studied the Secondary level can also seek admission in NIOS either to complete his course or to improve his performance.

NIOS 10th Eligibility
To apply for the Secondary courses at NIOS, a learner needs to meet the following criteria:
- Students should have cleared class 8th and have valid proof of attaining 14 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course.
