NIOS Syllabus To-Dos

  • Make a time table and stick to it: A detailed and organized study plan will serve two main purposes in covering the syllabus on time. It will give a clear idea of the amount of time you need to dedicate to each subject and topic. Distribute the syllabus into small chunks and plan accordingly so as to complete the syllabus on time. By sticking to the study plan, students will also cultivate a sense of discipline required to complete a vast syllabus thoroughly, and on time.
  • Set realistic goals: Making a study plan for 16-18 hours a day is not only unrealistic but also unhealthy. It would not be a well-balanced study routine, and would eventually backfire, as you would not be giving yourself enough rest, sleep or relaxation. Students can study for shorter periods, but with complete focus without any gadgets or distractions.
  • Start with the weak or difficult subjects first: This is absolutely crucial, as the students might need to go over weak or difficult subjects several times, or get external help, which won’t be possible if left for last minute. Studying weaker sections first ensures that no last-minute panic.
