The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducts a written entrance exam in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) course offered at its campuses. Thus, NIFT Entrance Exam for BFTech admissions comprises a General Ability Test (GAT) only.
NIFT Entrance Exam for BFTech admission is of three hours duration wherein aspirants need to attempt a total of 150 questions.

Aspirants opting to pursue BFTech course from any NIFT campus can undergo in-depth study in this field by pursuing any one specialisation from their respective departments from the list mentioned below:

Apart from this, aspirants can also select any one interdisciplinary minor (IDM) from any department other than their own department. The IDMs on offer as part of BFTech course are Apparel Manufacturing Process and IT Applications for Fashion Business.

There is no fixed number of mock tests one should take before the NIFT Entrance Exam. A candidate should take at least one mock test daily for the NIFT Entrance Preparation. 10-15 mock tests will really help in preparing for the exam.
