There is no specific number as such that you need to solve. But that being said, you must try to solve as many sample papers as possible for UCEED 2026. Note that at the initial stage, when you are starting of you exam preparation, you will not be able to solve the complete sample paper. It is only in the last few months, or may be weeks, that you can solve all the questions given in the sample papers. So, if you are able to solve may be say 10 odd sample papers before the exam, you will be in a good place to do well. There are multiple benefits of solving sample papers. UCEED 2026 Application is expected to open by October 01, 2025, on the official website. The last date to apply with regular fees will be in the second week of November 2025. Candidates who met the prescribed eligibility criteria were able to apply for admission.

UCEED Exam 2026 will be conducted on January 18, 2026 (Sunday), from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The details released on October 01, 2025, on the official website.

Yes, there will be biometric verification at the UCEED 2026 exam centre. The biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) will be collected from the candidate before the commencement of the exam. On exam day, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof and the admit card. Note that the photo id proof must be in the original; photocopies will not be accepted. Note that the candidate needs to report at the UCEED 2026 exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.

The last date to apply for UCEED 2026 with a regular fee is November 05, 2025. The late fee application window will open once the regular window closes.  With a late fee of INR 500, application forms can be submitted from November 05, 2025 to November 10, 2025. The late fee amount has to be paid in addition to the application fees.

Draft answer key for UCEED 2026 will be released on January 20, 2026.  It will only be released for Part A of the exam. No answer keys will be released for UCEED Part B.

To download draft answer key, candidates need to go to the admission portal and click the draft answer link. No login is required to download the answer key.

IIT Bombay has launched the new website for the UCEED 2026 exam on October 1, 2025 https://www.uceed.iitb.ac.in/2026/index.html.

The new website carries information like important dates, an information brochure, and the candidate portal. There is also a download section, from where the candidate will be able to download useful resources like previous years question papers and answer keys.

IIT Bombay released the admission notification for UCEED 2026 on October 1, 2025.

The admit cards for the UCEED 2026 exam were released on January 02, 2026. Admit cards will be released for all candidates who successfully complete the application form. It was released online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. Canddiates must carry admit card with them to the exam centre.
