BITS Pilani has announced the fee structure for the 2026-27 academic session for all three campuses- Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. Along with the updated fee structure, the institute also offers several merit-based and merit-cum-need scholarships to help students manage the cost of education. Additionally, a new tuition-blind admission initiative has been introduced for top BITSAT rankers from the 2026-27 academic year. BITSAT 2026 Fee Structure (Academic Year 2026-27)

The fee structure remains the same across the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses for students admitted through BITSAT 2026.

Note: Tuition and hostel fees will increase every academic year for students admitted in 2026-27, as per the institute’s fee revision policy. 

Estimated Cost of Studying at BITS Pilani

The overall expenditure depends on the programme duration, hostel stay, practice school, and other charges.

• 4-year BE programme: Around ₹30-32 lakh

• 5-year Dual Degree programme: Around ₹35-37 lakh

BITSAT 2026 Scholarships

BITS Pilani offers multiple scholarships based on academic performance and financial need.

1. Merit Scholarship

Students securing top academic performance in institute evaluations are eligible for tuition fee waivers.

These scholarships are reviewed periodically based on academic performance. 

2. Merit-cum-Need (MCN) Scholarship

Students with financial need and good academic performance can receive tuition fee concessions.

The continuation of MCN scholarships depends on academic performance and institute guidelines. 

3. Tuition-Blind Admission Scholarship (New from 2026)

BITS Pilani has introduced a new scholarship initiative beginning with the 2026-27 academic session.

Under this scheme:

• Top 500 BITSAT rankers are eligible.

• Annual family income must be ₹20 lakh or below.

• Eligible students receive a 100% tuition fee scholarship for all four years.

• Students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.5 during the programme.

• The scholarship is automatically mentioned in the admission offer; no separate application is required. 

Financial Assistance at BITS Pilani

Apart from scholarships, BITS Pilani supports students through:

• Student Aid Fund

• Education loan assistance

• Financial aid for deserving students

• Institute-supported scholarship schemes

Nearly one-fourth of BITS students receive some form of financial assistance during their studies.
