KEAM 2020 result will be declared in the third week of May. The authority will release KEAM rank list in the third week of June.
Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala will release the result and rank list of KEAM 2020 in the third week of May and second week of June respectively. The KEAM 2020 result & rank list will be prepared carrying equal weightage marks obtained in the Paper I and Paper II put together, and the grade/marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology put together in Class XII or equivalent exam. Candidates have to enter application number, password and access code to check KEAM 2020 rank list. After the declaration of KEAM result & rank 2020, candidates will be called for the counselling process. The Centralised Counselling Process (CAP) organizes the KEAM 2020 counselling. Candidates must secure at least 10 marks as the qualifying marks in each paper – Paper 1 (Physics & Chemistry) and Paper 2 (Mathematics) for inclusion in the KEAM rank list. Around 59,000 seats will be offered for the undergraduate engineering aspirants in 365 institutes in Kerala.

In case of a tie between the KEAM scores of two or more candidates following criteria will be followed-
Explore colleges based on KEAM
- Candidate with higher marks in Mathematics in KEAM 2020 will be given preference
- If the tie persists, candidates who score more in Physics will be given preference
- If still there is a tie, then candidates with higher standardized marks in Mathematics of the 12th standard will be ranked higher
- If still there is a tie, then higher standardized marks in Physics during 12th standard examinations will be considered
- When none of the above options works, then age will be used to break the tie
- Candidates who are older in age will be ranked higher
KEAM 2020 Cutoff
CEE-Kerala will announce KEAM cut off marks after the declaration of the results. KEAM Cut off will consist of opening and closing ranks for all the participating institutes. Candidates who obtain more or equal marks to the exam cut off will qualify for the KEAM counselling process. The factors such as previous year’s cutoff trends, the difficulty level of the exam, availability of seats for a particular course and institute. The authority will release a separate KEAM cut off list after each round of exam counselling.
