For BTech Course
- A candidate should have passed Class 12, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects.
- A candidate should have secured minimum of 50% mark together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
For BTech Lateral Entry Course
- A candidate should have completed 3 years Diploma in the concerned discipline from a recognized Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or
- Passed BSc Degree from a recognized University.
- Should have obtained 45% marks and passed Class 12 with Mathematics as a subject.

MET Registration 2020: This is the first stage of the application procedure wherein a candidate has to exercise the registration process. While exercising the registration, a candidate will have to fill the following details.
- Fill email address
- Fill mobile number
- Make password of your choice
- Select the program from the drop down menu.
- Then select the stream and course.
- After filling all the details click on “Register & Continue” button.
- Further, candidates will receive an email on the registered email id which will have login details.
Fill Manipal MET Application Form 2020: After the completion of the registration process, candidates are required to login again using the email id and password. Once the account is login, fill the following details in the application form.
- Applicant’s full name
- Gender (Male/Female)
- Date of Birth in DD/MM/YY format.
- Nationality
- Email ID and Mobile number
- Parent’s name, email id and mobile number
Upload Photo & Signature: A candidate will have to upload his/her recent photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Check the size and dimension of the photo in the table available below.

MET Application Fee Payment: Candidates are required to pay the application fee for the submission of the Manipal online form. In order to make the payment, use Credit Card / Debit Cards / Net Banking / Cash Card / Mobile Payments / Paytm Wallet / Unified Payments Interface (UPI). Check the application fee details below.

In MET counselling process, candidates will first have to register online to pay counselling fee and select choice of courses and campuses. MET seat allotment will be announced online. Selected candidates have to confirm their admission before last date.
