MHT CET 2026 May 12 PCM Question Paper with Solutions: The MHT CET exam for May 12 was conducted in two shifts. The shift 1 of MHT CET was held from 9 AM to 12 PM and for shift 2 from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exam was conducted for a total of 200 marks, having 150 questions in total. Physics, Chemistry had Maths had equal number of questions, though the marking scheme differed for these. While every question of Physics and Chemistry was worth 1 mark, every question in Maths was worth 2 marks. Q:   Is there any mock seat allotment in MHT CET counselling?

No, there is no mock seat rounds in MHT CET counselling. The CET Cell conducts MHT CET counselling in three or four rounds. Candidates after registering for the counselling have to enter their preferred choice of college and branch in the order of preference. The allotment of seats will be made on the basis of All India Rank and choices filled by the candidate.

Q:   Is it possible to get 120-150 marks in MHT CET if I am scoring 100 marks in mock test?

Getting good marks in MHT CET mock tests do not guarantee that you will also score good marks in the actual exam. However, if you are solving the mock tests regularly, it will surely help in increasing the accuracy, time management and performance of exam.

Q:   Is there a negative marking in MHT CET?
A: 

There is no negative marking in MHT CET. In the Maharashtra CET exam, Physics and Chemistry question is of 1 marks. No marks are deducted for unattempted questions or incorrection answers. 

Q:   What is the MHT CET exam pattern 2026?
A: 

As per the MHT CET 2026 exam pattern, the test will be conducted in online mode (CBT) having only MCQs. The exam consists of three papers (PCM/PCB) with 90 minutes each, totalling 100 marks per paper. There is no negative marking. Mathematics questions are worth 2 marks each, while Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are worth 1 mark each.

Q:   What type of questions are asked in MHT CET?
A: 

There are 150 MCQs asked in MHT CET exam question paper with four options in each question and only one option is correct. Fifty questions are asked from each subject including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. This is an online computer-based test.
