The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will soon announce the MHT CET exam date 2021. MHT CET 2021 is expected to be conducted in August, as announced by Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant. Application form of MHT CET 2021 was released on June 8. MHT CET application form last date is July 7. Candidates who misses the MHT CET application form 2021 date will be allowed to complete MHT CET 2021 registration by paying late fee of Rs.700 up to July 15.

Details regarding the exam dates will be announced on the MHT CET 2021 official website mhtcet2021.mahacet.org. MHT CET 2021 will be conducted at various centers across Maharashtra as well as out side the state in online mode (Computer Based Test) for PCM and PCB groups separately.

The questions will be based on Syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Approximately 20% weightage will be given to class 11 syllabus and 80% weightage will be given to class 12 syllabus. There will be no Negative Marking, however difficulty level will be at par with the JEE Main for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry questions.

MHT CET 2021 Exam Pattern

The MHT CET 2021 exam is divided unto two groups, Group 1 for B.Tech and Group 2 for Pharmacy. Exam will be held separately for both the groups on different day. Paper 1 and Paper 2 is for B.Tech while Paper 2 and 3 is for Pharmacy course. Candidates can appear for either one of them or both, selection of which have to be made while filling MHT CET application form 2021.

MHT CET 2026 scores are used for Maharashtra State Quota admissions. For All India seats in engineering colleges of Maharashtra, JEE Main scores will be used.
