Shiksha launches KEAM College Predictor Tool

KEAM (Kerela Engineering Agricultural Medical Exam) 2018 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 23 and April 24. The registrations of the exam concluded in February. KEAM is a gateway for admissions to most of the engineering colleges in Kerela. Considering its significance, it’s natural for students to start shortlisting the most suited engineering college as soon as the exam gets over.

To help such candidates, Shiksha has launched the KEAM College Predictor Tool. This college predictor tool helps aspirants find out the college as well as engineering branch in which they can get admission in Kerala on the basis of their KEAM ranks and score. Apart from this, the tool offers information to aspirants regarding the closing ranks for admissions in different colleges which accept KEAM 2018 scores. Candidates can also seek information regarding which colleges will offer them admissions in the engineering branch/branches of their choice.

Shiksha’s KEAM 2018 College Predictor Tool offers aspirants multiple features to explore. Follow the below mentioned steps to use this student friendly tool.

Step 1: Click on the KEAM 2018 College Predictor Tool link below:

Step 2: Enter your Rank/Merit Number and select your category from the given categories.

Step 3: Choose your preferred colleges. You may or may not skip this step as its optional.

Step 4: After filling in the required details, press the ‘Show Results’ button to view the list of colleges you would be eligible on the basis of your KEAM 2018 rank.

At this point, aspirants will be shown information about college, branch name, location, admission round and closing rank. Besides this, students will also have the option of  going through reviews, QnA and articles around a particular/preferred college. Shiksha’s College Predictor Tool will also let students download college brochures of the college they are interested in.

This multi-faceted tool also lets a student compare two or more colleges on the basis of various parameters like College Rankings, Alumni Placement Data, Exam required & Cutoffs, Course fee Affiliation & more.

To use this compare colleges feature efficiently, aspirants will first have to press the ‘Add to Compare’ box mentioned below the name of each college. At once, an aspirants can compare a maximum of four colleges. After selecting colleges for comparison, click on the ‘Compare’ button.
