KIIT is one of the best private colleges in Odisha with a vast campus and a good study environment that provides almost every student a handsome package. KIITEE is just an opportunity to get into college with a lot more competition. But how to prepare for this exam to get into this college and also in your dream branch.
Explore popular B.Tech colleges for you
Firstly, for preparation of this exam only opt for the books that focus on short and conceptual answers as in this exam only those questions were asked. If you try to solve a high complexity one question then you might miss the right track. So prepare NCERT strongly and remember all the concepts. You can also opt for some books like ’together with’ for Chemistry, ‘Xam idea’ for Physics and for Maths you can opt for R S Aggarwal. Most of the paper will be from these books only. As when I have appeared for the same, if have got almost 90% of the questions from these books only.
Secondly, the most important thing is that you must follow a proper time management schedule, in which you can balance time equally to all the subjects (equally refers to in the most proper way to achieve your daily targets that you have set for different subjects, even in which you are strong and in which you are weak). As this will only help you in making a proper balance between the competitive exams and board exams as well.
Prepare as much as you can up to the pre-boards. Complete your pre-boards well and then do a thorough revision of all what you have prepared in a month. After that in the next month, focus more on the most scoring topics from which most of the questions appear in the exam and are useful in your other exams(if appearing for). Every exam has it’s own criteria and marks distribution system and have different topics that are scoring. Like for this exam, the most scoring chapter for Physics is Kinematics, for Maths it is Algebra and for Chemistry it is Physical Chemistry. So if you focus more on these topics then you can easily achieve a good rank and can be able to expect counselling call in the first round itself.
After getting free from all this, start appearing for the mock tests so in order to built speed and can be able to adapt to the examination hall environment. Try to solve at least three mock tests daily. Analyse your mistakes and the topics in which you are weak so that you have enough time to prepare it again and can be able to solve all the questions. Try to avoid all the mistakes that you have done in the previous test again in the coming test. If you will follow all these tricks then you can easily get a good rank in KIITEE.
