Firstly for engineering courses, the entrance paper has the same syllabus as that of JEE Main. Now coming to the paper pattern, the paper consists of two papers. First is of Chemistry and Physics that is of 120 marks and 150 minutes are given to solve the questions. The second paper is of Mathematics ( for engineering students ) and Biology ( for B.pharma ) with 120 questions and 150 minutes to solve paper. KEAM usually happens in the month of April i.e after JEE Mains. I would advise solving questions from previous year KEAM test papers. Since the paper is of two and a half hours, it should be done in one go. Don't spend much time in revising. Keep track of your scores and try to perform better every time than previous.

Never look for answers before you have solved the paper, moreover, stay away from distractions as it reduces speed. Speed is the only key to excel in KEAM. The limit is more than approximately one minute per question. The paper will not be much hard if you compare with JEE Mains so, the cut-off will be more. If you are from Kerela, you will enjoy 'home state quota' benefits ( Make sure you have required documents ). Keep the answer sheet aside while solving the questions.

The focus point for the paper will mostly be the timing part. You may encounter some questions that will be very tough. If you feel like leaving those questions, don't hesitate. They are intentionally put inside for the purpose of evaluation. Do revise the syllabus by doing more and more questions.
