VIT uses a statistical procee of Equipercentile Equating to identify the percentile ranks for aspirants. Basis this process, the scores on different forms with the same percentile rank are considered to be equivalent.
The percentile rank is a unique and invariant position of the test taker in that group. For instance, 90 Percentile Rank denotes that there are 90 percent of test takers scores below this score level and 10 percent above this test score.

Advance fee in VIT is partial amount that must be paid after seat allotment to book allocated seat. It can vary for different categories. Once candidate makes payment, he/she is not allowed to attend further rounds of counselling.

VITMEE is the entrance exam conducted for M.Tech programme admission and VITEEE is conducted for admission to BTech programmes. However, the selection and counselling process remains to be the same.

In VITEEE, VIT mainly focuses on class 12th syllabus than 11th standard syllabus. To score 300 to 400 marks in VIT exam, we advise to -
- Cover 12th syllabus first
- Solve PYQs and mock test
