Refer to NCERT books and the books recommended by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Exams for your WBJEE exam preparation in Chemistry. Devote more time to topics like:

  • Reaction Mechanism of Organic Chemistry and conditions under which these reactions occur

Physical Chemistry is easier to understand in composition than Organic and Inorganic. For inorganic chemistry, read everything from the reference books. Make it a habit to look into complicated structures and explanations.

There is no minimum passing mark for WBJEE. However, for admission, candidates should have score minimum 45% marks in 12th qualifying examination (40% for reserved categories).

No, WBJEE is held as an annual exam. WBJEEB will conduct WBJEE as a one day examination consisting of two papers, Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry).

Adamas University BTech cutoff mark is determined based on WBJEE score. In 2025, the round 2 closing rank for BTech CSE was 1222506. For the BTech in Biotechnology course, the closing rank was 1251488. The given cutoff information is for the candidates belonging to general All-India category.
