IIT Delhi MSc fee structure comprises various components, such as tuition fee, security deposit, Insurance and Student Distress Fund, etc. While the tuition fee is payable in semester-wise instalments, other fee components, such as the refundable security deposit are payable once at admission. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 574 and closing rank was 574. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1572 and 1572. Admission to BTech in Electrical Engineering in IIT Delhi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. No, the institute offers admission based on CAT scores. Candidates seeking admission to IIT Delhi MBA course must apply online for CAT. IIT Delhi MBA admission is based on candidates' performance in the CAT entrance test, followed by a GD & PI round. In order to apply for MSc at IIT Delhi, candidates are requested to download the application form from the official website of IIT Delhi or collect a paper application form. Then, they are also requested to fill in the application form and attach a draft for INR 300 made payable to the 'Registrar, IIT Delhi' at New Delhi. Candidates must note that IIT Delhi MSc admission is completely entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to the IIT Delhi MSc must appear for the IIT-JAM. For IIT Delhi PhD admission, candidates need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute. Master degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Humanities or equivalent in relevant stream with a CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale or 60% aggregate is the basic eligibility criteria for PhD admission. Eligible candidates can apply by filling out the application form by visiting the official website. The selection is based on merit in CSIR-NET/GATE followed by an interview round.

No, admission to the IIT Delhi courses is entrance-based, except for PG Diploma course. There is no provision for direct admission. However, for IIT Delhi MTech admission, the institute offers direct admission to candidates with an overall CGPA of 8.00 out of 10. Admission to IIT Delhi BTech courses is subject to fulfiment of the eligibility requirements for JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The students who have passed Class 12 in Science stream with at least 75% aggregate (65% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD) are eligible to apply. Hence, a student scoring less than 60% is not eligible to pursue BTech at IIT Delhi. They can go for other colleges offering the course. The total course fee is a cumulative of multiple components such as tuition fee, medical fees, transport fees, etc. IIT Delhi PhD tuition fee for full-time course is INR 7,500 per semester.
