CLAT Candidate Login 2027: CLAT login details are very important; without them, a candidate cannot fill their application form or download the hall ticket. Students also cannot check Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) result or take part in counselling process without login details. CLAT Login 2027 is also important as it helps candidates get access to all important updates released by Consortium. Candidates are advised to keep login details until CLAT 2027 admission process is completed.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has started CLAT Registration 2027 from August 3, 2026. Candidates can complete the CLAT application process by visiting consortiumofnlus.ac.in. How to Create CLAT 2027 Candidate Login Details?

Students can create login details during CLAT 2027 registration process. Check applicable steps below. 

  • Visit CLAT 2027 registration page at consortiumofnlus.ac.in

  • Select CLAT 2027 tab

  • Click on Register button

  • Enter required details

  • Verify mobile number using the OTP sent to it

  • Create a password and confirm it

  • Save login details for future use

The CLAT PG Exam will be held for duration of two hours; i.e. from 2 pm to 4 pm. Candidates have to answer 120 questions in the given time frame. The scores of CLAT LLM 2027 score will be accepted by 19 NLUs in the country. 

Q:   What is good rank in CLAT exam?

A good rank in the CLAT exam for general category students is under 1,000–1,500 to secure admission in top-tier National Law Universities (NLUs). A rank under 500 is considered excellent for the top 5 NLUs, while a rank up to 3,000–5,000 can still secure a seat in newer, mid-tier NLUs. 

Q:   How many NLUs participate in CLAT Exam?

As of 2026, 26 National Law Universities (NLUs) participate in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). These universities offer undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs, with over 5,600 seats available in total. NLU Delhi is the only exception, conducting its own entrance exam (AILET) rather than participating in CLAT

Q:   What is the CLAT exam duration?
A: 

The CLAT exam duration is two hours for both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate. It will have 120 multiple choice questions. For each correct answer one makrs will be given and -0.25 will be deducted for incorrect ones.

How to Use CLAT Candidate Login 2027 to Retrieve a Password?

In case candidates forget the password required to log in to their registered accounts, they can follow the steps below to recover it:

  • On the login window, click on the Forgot Password 

  • Enter your mobile number.  

  • Click on the 'Request OTP' 

  • Enter the mobile number, OTP (received on the mobile), and new password.

  • Click on the 'Reset' Password

  • A new password will be generated

Now, you can log in with new password and download the hall ticket.

How to fill CLAT 2027 Application Form

Candidates can follow the steps below to fill the CLAT application form without making any errors. To fill the form it is important to register first. Check complete steps below

  • Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in

  • Click on CLAT Exam 2027 tab

  • Select register

  • Enter your name, mobile number & email ID

  • Verify your phone number using the OTP sent

  • Create password

  • Log in again using your registered mobile number & password

  • Choose the course

  • Fill in your details like Name, DOB, Parents' name

  • Select category

  • Enter your communication details

  • Fill your academic details

  • Select your choice of test center locations

  • Enter your state domicile to claim state reservation

How to Check CLAT 2027 Result?

Candidates must note that the CLAT Result 2027 will be released online. The steps to download the scorecard are described below

  • Visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in

  • Log in using the Registration Number and Password 

  • Under Result tab, click on the View Score Card tab.

  • Your result/ scorecard will be displayed on the screen

  • Download and take a printout of result PDF to refer to it at the time of counselling registration and seat allotment process.

Candidates can raise objections or challenge the CLAT provisional Answer Key for questions/answers with which they find any errors or discrepancies on the official website. Check out the quick steps below:  

  • Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

  • Log in using your registered mobile number and password.

  • Click on the Submit Objections button.

  • Select the type of objection (1) About the question or (2) About the answer key.

  • Enter objection details.

  • Click on Submit.

  • Click on the Make Payment button to make a payment of INR 1,000 per question.

Yes, the Consortium removed two Test Cities from the CLAT 2027.  The removed test cities are Vellore and Tiruvarur. CLAT 2027 exam date is December 6.

Candidates are required to pay the CLAT Registration/Form fee as per their category. The Consortium prescribed the category-wise form fee. Without submitting the CLAT form fee, the registration will not be completed.

No, candidates who fulfill OP Jindal Global University BBA LLB (hons) eligibility criteria cannot apply with a CLAT-UG score. This institute only accepts admission based on LNAT-UK exam. No other entrance exams are accepted during admissions to this course.

CLAT does not give a fixed number for grammar. The exam is fully passage-based. Grammar is tested inside English Language, which carries around 20% weightage.
