CLAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling the CLAT Application Form 2027 it is very important to understand the CLAT Eligibility Criteria. The eligibility for the CLAT UG and PG is different. Read further to know more:
For Undergraduate (UG) - 5-Year Integrated LLB
- Must have passed Class 12 or be appearing in 2027.
- General/OBC/PwD/NRI/PIO/OCI: Minimum 45% marks
- SC/ST: Minimum 40% marks
For Postgraduate (PG) - 1-Year LLM
- Must have completed or be in the final year of an LLB degree (3-year or 5-year).
- General/OBC/PwD/NRI/PIO/OCI: Minimum 50% marks
- SC/ST: Minimum 45% mark

The Consortium has not announced the last date to submit the CLAT Application Form yet. However, once the application process starts it mostly remain opens for three months. This gives candidates sufficient time to complete it and submit.
You don't have to worry. In case you have forgotten your ID and password, which is pretty much normal. You can go and click on the forgot password tab in the registration window. You will receive the mail and then you have to reset your password. Once day you will be able to login.
See, it doesn't matter that you fill the form through laptop or phone. What matters is you fill the form. Yes, you should have good network connection and internet speed. It should not happen that you have filled the form and when you reach the last step you loose the connection. So what is important is network connection not the phone or laptop to fill the application form.
Even with all the right documents, if you have not paid the application fee, your application form will be rejected. Since the application process cannot complete without submiting the fees. Once the window closes you won't be able to pay the fees or re fill the form.
CLAT 2027: Age Limit
The consortium does not provide the age limit criteria to fill out the CLAT application form. The eligible candidates can appear for the exam after filling out the application form. The candidates must know the CLAT Application Dates to fill the form before the deadline.

The Consortium will release the CLAT Counselling Schedule along with the result. The CLAT First Merit List will likely be released by December end. The Consortium will release five round merit list.
Though CLAT Preparation takes months of practice, it is still not impossible. You can prepare for the CLAT Exam in one week with a correct and dedicated focus. But you should have at least some understanding of concepts to clear the exam.

Documents Required to Fill CLAT 2026 Application Form
Before filling out the CLAT form, keep the following documents ready:
- Passport-size photograph (Recent, clear – JPEG format, up to 500 KB)
- Signature (Black/blue ink on white paper – JPEG format)
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 12 mark sheet (If passed)
- LLB mark sheet (for PG applicants)
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD – if applicable)
- Domicile certificate (if applying under state quota)
- BPL certificate (for BPL category applicants)

CLAT Application Fee 2027
Candidates must note that their application form will not be considered submitted unless they pay the CLAT Form Fees 2027. Check the category-wise fee structure below:
- General/OBC/PwD/NRI: INR 4,000
- SC/ST/BPL: INR 3,500
An additional INR 500 will be charged if opting to purchase previous years' question papers. The candidates will be able to pay the application fee through Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, and UPI.

Yes, it is tough for an average student. However, with good strategy and study plan cracking CLAT exam is not tough.
There is no option to make changes in the CLAT admit card. Details printed on the candidate's hall ticket will be final and non-editable. Incase, there is any error in the details mentioned on the CLAT admit card, like name or roll number of the candidate., etc. then that can be rectified by contacting the CLAT help desk.
Once the CLAT admit card is released, candidates cannot change their allotted exam centre. There is no provision for altering the test centre at any stage, making it crucial to carefully select test cities when filling out the CLAT application form. It is advisable to choose a city that is either your hometown, a city you are likely to be in on the exam day, or a nearby city where you can reach easily.
