How to Become an Intellectual Property Lawyer in India

Candidates who want to be an intellectual property attorney:

Complete 10+2 in Any Stream

There is no required stream in school. A science/maths background will be beneficial for students who are interested in pursuing patents, though.

Choose a Law Degree

After the 12th standard, you may opt:

  • 5-year Integrated LLB course (BA LL.B., BBA LL.B., BSc LL.B.).
