Integrated courses are a combination of two degree programs. The duration of these courses is five years. In Law, integrated courses are BA LLB. BCom LLB, BBA LLB and BTech LLB. They are offered at many law colleges in India. The curriculum of integrated law courses might vary for each college. Students who want to study an integrated LLB course after 12 can choose it. Admission to integrated courses is offered through an entrance test and merit. The exams like CLAT, AILET, SLAT, ULSAT and more are conducted to offer admission. BA LLB (Bachelor or Arts and Bachelor of Law): This is the most popular course among law students. The duration of the course is of 5 years. The subjects taught are a combination of arts and law, including constitutional law, criminal law, international law, history, sociology, and political science. Also, students will gain theoretical and practical knowledge through moot courts, internships, and legal research.

BCom LLB (Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law): This is an integrated course where commerce and law subjects are studied combined. The subjects taught are accounting, economics, finance, business law, corporate law, taxation, and constitutional law. A graduate has career opportunities as a tax advisor, legal manager, legal consultant or corporate lawyer. 

BTech LLB (Bachelor in Technology and Bachelor of Legislative Law): This course is designed for students who are interested in law and technology. The duration of the course is 5 to 6 years. Students will study computer science, data structures, engineering graphics, contract law cyber law, intellectual property and more). A graduate has career options as a cyber lawyer, a Legal consultant, a corporate lawyer, patent engineer.

BBA LLB (Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law): This is 5 to 8-year degree program where BBA and LLB are taught combined. Those who are interested in both the business and legal sectors can go for this course. The curriculum for BBA LLB includes marketing, management, finance, contract law, corporate law and constitutional law. The career options for a BBA LLB graduate are legal counsel, corporate lawyer, or compliance officer.

Q:   How will I know if I am eligible to appear in CLAT exam or not?
A:

In order to know if you are eligible or not check the official notification and the eligibility criteria. There is no other way to check the the eligibility criteria.  Do not fill the form without checking the eligibility criteria. 

Q:   What if I am not satisfied with the CLAT seat allotment?
A:

If the candidates is not satisfied with the CLAT seat allotment result, they can either accept or opt for upgradingt the college alloted. The Freeze option is used by candidates to confirm their choice of NLU. Apply for upgrade option is used when candidates want to change the allotted institute to his or her higher choice (upward shifting).

Q:   Can I get NLU if my CLAT Rank is 1500?
A:

Yes, with a CLAT Rank of 1500, you have a very good chance of getting into several good NLUs. Some fo the NLU where your chances are high are NLIU Bhopal or NLU Jodhpur.

Integrated Law Course After 12th: Admission Process

Admission to integrated law courses after 12 is based on merit or an entrance test. For merit admission class 12 marks are considered. For admission to the top law college, entrance test like CLAT, AILET, SLAT, ULSAT etc are conducted. Law aspirants can use any medium for admission.

Q:   How many times I can appear for CLAT Exam?
A:

There is no restriction as such for the CLAT exam. Thus, one can give CLAT any number of times they want to. Candidates should not feel bad if they are not able to clear the CLAT exam in first time. 

Q:   Can I get admission in NLUs without clearing CLAT Exam?
A:

No you can not get admission to 24 participating NLUs without clearing CLAT Exam. For admission to NLU Delhi, you need to clear AILET Exam. 

Q:   How many merit list will be released by the Consortium?
A:

The Consortium will release atleast five merit list to complete the admission process through CLAT Score. However, the number of merit list might change in case of some discrepancy in answer key or result.

Integrated Law Course After 12th: Entrance Exam

CLAT

 National Law University Delhi conducts the Combined Law Admission Test exam for admission to the 3 year and 5 years LLB courses. Students have to apply online for the test. The registered students have to appear and qualify the test. The qualifying candidates will be eligible for admission to the colleges accepting CLAT score.

AILET

This exam is conducted by NLU Delhi for admission to the UG, PG and doctoral law programs. Students who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board can apply for the All India Law Entrance Test. The registration is done online. Registered students need to appear and qualify the online test. Students who qualify the test can get admission. 

SLAT

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT for admission to LLB and Integrated LLB courses. To appear for the test you need to apply online. After registration appear for the Symbiosis law entrance test. This test is conducted online. Those who qualify in the exam are considered for admission.
