Use these three months to study the concepts and theories of all the topics listed under SNAP syllabus. Start with the subject you are weak at. Take notes, watch videos, read secondary material to clear your concepts. Memorize all the formulae and theorems.
For A-LR, first understand the type of logical reasoning questions and which trick is to be applied to which type of questions. Next, practice a good number of reasoning questions of a wide variety.

Our advice: Make a weekly plan subject-wise and follow it with 100 per cent dedication.

How to prepare for SNAP 2025 in 2 months: Strategy for October-November
Dedicate these two months to practicing previous year SNAP question papers, sample papers and SNAP mock tests. Since SNAP is a speed based test, practicing mock tests is of utmost importance as it helps the candidates in developing speed and accuracy in solving the questions. While SNAP question papers will help you in understanding the pattern and types of questions asked in the exam, weightage of topics and marking scheme; the SNAP sample paper will provide an exposure of variety of questions asked in SNAP exam. SNAP mock tests will help you to familiarize yourself with the online exam system as well as improve speed and accuracy.
But don’t forget to measure your performance after each SNAP mock test. The purpose of practicing mock tests and sample papers is to improve your performance in each topic included in the SNAP syllabus. Also, don’t get disheartened if you don’t do well in mock tests initially. Keep working towards it, you will start scoring well.
SNAP authorities also conduct mock tests for registered candidates in these months. You should definitely take one official SNAP mock test to understand the test form, exam structure and pattern and get familiar with online test environment before the actual exam.
Our advice: Don’t start with SNAP mock tests until you have completed the SNAP syllabus.

SNAP candidates are not required to apply separately for all SIU campuses. They can select colleges in the SNAP application form. However, they need to fill the PI-shortlist form separately for whichever colleges they get shortlisted.

Between SNAP and NMAT, the former is considered easier in terms of difficulty level of the questions. However, SNAP is of 60 minutes in which candidates have to address 60 question. This makes SNAP more challenging than NMAT which is a test of longer duration (2 hours having 108 questions).

Usually it is recommended that Arun Sharma series (Verbal, Quant, DI), R.S. Aggarwal's Reasoning/Quant books, and Word Power Made Easy, are enough for SNAP preparation. Sample questions papers, mock tests, sectional test series are also important.

Two months may not be enough to prepare for SNAP exam, if you are attempting it for the first time. However, you can try with a very specific and focussed plan. Check SNAP question papers of previous years to know dominant subjects. Study only those thoroughly and practice mock tests side by side.
