MAH MBA CET Seat Matrix 2026

MAH MBA CET Seat Matrix 2026 has been released by the State CET Cell announcing availability of MBA/MMS seats in 300+ colleges across Maharashtra. This seat matrix will form the basis of seat allotment to candidates participating in the Centralised Admission Process or the CAP.

Maharashtra State CET CELL is conducting the CAP 2026 for admission to MBA/MMS courses offered by the state affiliated colleges. Candidates who qualified the MAH CET 2026 exam and registered for the CAP round will be allotted a seat in one of the chosen college basis their score and seat matrix.

How to check MAH MBA CET 2026 CAP Round 1 Seat Matrix?

Candidates have to follow the below given steps to check the MAH MBA CET 2026 Seat Matrix:

What is MAH MBA CET 2026 Seat Matrix?

The seat matrix document indicates number of seats available in each participating college for each category. The CAP round 1 seat matrix document contains the following details:

  • College-wise seat intake
  • Branch-wise seat availability
  • Category-wise distribution of seats
  • Home University and Other Than Home University quota
  • All India quota seats
  • Institute-level seat details, wherever applicable

This year, the State CET Cell has implemented 30% Reservation for female candidates.

What Next After Seat Matrix Release?

After checking the MAH CAP 2026 seat matrix and MBA CAP final merit list, candidates will have to submit the confirmation form for participating in the CAP 2026 round. The first allotment list will be released on August 2 and candidates will have to confirm admission between April 3 and 5. Those who would get the college of their choice will have to accept the seat through login and complete admission formalities at the college. Those who would not get the preferred college can lock the seat provisionally and wait for CAP Round 2 allotment. The MAH MBA CAP 2026 round will be conducted upto 4 rounds for allotment of seat for over 1 lakh MAH CET qualifiers.

Q:   What is the MAH MBA CET 2026 exam date?
A: 

MAH MBA CET 2026 was conducted on April 6, 7 and 8, 2026 and May 9, 2026. This year, the exam was conducted in 2 phases. Candidates could choose to appear for one or both attempts. Fee was to be paid per attempt. If a candidate attempted both sessions, best of the two percentiles will be considered for admission.

Q:   What is MAH CET score normalization process?
A: 

MAH CET score normalization process is undertaken to ensure that all candidates are judged on the same plane. This is done because MAH MBA CET is a multi-session exam and it may be possible that one session can be slighter easier or tougher than another. 

MAH CET score normalization ensures that no candidate has an advantage or disadvantage over another due to differences in difficulty level of their exam session. So, before the preparation of the MBA CET result and merit list, the Maharashtra CET normalizes the exam scores. Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all candidates who appear for MAH CET. Basically, the marks obtained by every candidate are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session.

Q:   How will I know about my MAH CET MBA test center?
A: 

The address of MAH MBA CET test centre will be mentioned on the admit card. The candidates will get to know of their test centre only after downloading the MAH CET admit card. Once they know the address, they should check the distance and time taken from their home to the centre. This is important as candidates have to reach their MAH CET test centre as per the reporting time mentioned in their admit card. For both shifts of MAH CET, the reporting time in 1 hour before the commencement of the exam.

Candidates must note that there is no provision to change the test centre after the admit card has been released. They should visit the MAH CET test centre a day before the exam to check traveling options, etc.

Q:   How many MBA CET CAP rounds are there?
A: 

There are usually 3 CAP rounds for MBA admission through MAH CET. The MBA CAP rounds are conducted within a gap of a week and include the following:

·       Announcement of provisional merit list basis CAP form registration

·       Submission of grievances (if any) along with required documents at the Facilitation Centre

·      Announcement of final merit list

·       Reporting at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) for verification of documents and confirmation of admission.

·       Visiting the college office for admission

Logical Reasoning section has 75 questions which are usually moderate but there can be a few questions that can challenge your skills. They can be confusing or time taking. Abstract Reasoning questions are easy, so candidates must target all 25 of them.
